So, shtuff.

Just recently got back from the Coffeehouse. It was quite enjoyable -several very loud rocktype bands (With drummers...drool!) and whatnot. I love live rockymusic, it's *fun*.

Also got to preform my monologue of alliterative doom for the second time, in front of a bigger audience, and one less inclined to naturally like me. I preformed offmike, which was good of me, and apparently had forgotten that I *really* like acting. Sigh.

Alsoalso...I'm out. Nowait, I know! Look at what I made in school today!!

(((And you get some *strange* looks when you carry a dodecahedron twice as big as your head around school. It was fun!)))

Alsoalsoalso, I am getting Much better at braiding peoples hair. That there is a fourstrand braid I did on Becky. Is it not excellent?

Yeah, now I'm really out. More babblings later, I suppose.

So, I've been busy rereading the archives of xkcd, which *continues* to be the most amazing comic...ever.

And *damn* I want a "Just shy --Not Anti-social!" t-shirt. I may have to get mum to order me one when she gets home. Because that is a beautiful shirt.

*************

So, music babblings. I was gonna do the "Movie soundtrack meme" but it turned out quite lame. SO you get some percentages instead.

I have, at this moment in time, 2980 songs. Which is a good deal of music --9.11 Gigs, or about 6 and 2/3 days.

Of this music selection:

03.22% is Weird Al (96/2980)
04.97% is random, generally Indie, music that Tho has sent me (148/2980)
24.23% is showtunes (722/2980)
03.42% is TMBG (102/2980)
01.84% is related to RHPS (55/2980)
01.51% turns up when I enter the letter "Q" into the searchbox (45/2980)
07.45% is the H2G2 related (radioplays, movie soundtrack, and Marvin songs.) (222/2980)
01.64% is Schoolhouse Rock (49/2980)
03.46% is some sort of Christmasish Music (103/2980)
08.52% has never been played (254/2980)
00.70% has been played more then 100 times. (21/2980)
00.17% has been played more then 200 times. (5/2980)

Any other percentages you'd like to see?

...You know what this reminds me of? My LONG SINCE DEFUNCT project where I was assigning songs to peoples elljays for...some reason. I think it was so I could be "I'm bored. Who's elljay am I gonna read the whole of today?"

At any rate...that activity crashed messily. Haven't touched it at least half a year, maybe more -I've still got Tho unlisted, for crissakes, and he's CERTAINLY rectified that particular musical problem. (((Hum, "Only Anarchists are Pretty" or "Up Against It"? Oh, questions...)))

...also, why is Ms Hecabus listed with Mrs Robinson? I'ma gonna assume she was quoting from it at one point...or...something. Yeeeeeeah. Like I said, WOEfully out of date.

...I'm out. See ya kids later.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Yeah. It's 2007!

Highlights from last night:

*Holyshit I got to see MagusMarc! (Or [livejournal.com profile] marcmagus, if you prefer) That was just awesome upon awesome. He gets favourite person of the day for yesterday award. And he braided my hair for me and squeeyay!

*Holyshit, I won the soliliquy contest! Ksatyr has vidfootage, it's gonna wind up on YouTube before too long. Voila!

(Also, I now have a Toblerone bar. Mmmm)

In short, my V for Vendetta monologue continues to rule. :D

*Kevin was Hamlet, and he had bees to go "Buzz Buzz!" Yayyyyyy! I think he gets my favourite person for today award.

*I met new and more excellent people, including this sweetheart named Eric. Since I seem to have an incredible knack for curling up and cuddling with people I hardly know. Fandom rules.

*Quote of the day: (Declared within five minutes after midnight) "I shouldn't have chugged the whole bottle --I don't feel so good."

Bernie has learned that sparkling cider is meant to be sipped. :p

*Oh and big thing --Liam! and Tara are engaged!! Yayayayayyayaya!!

Sooooo, yeah. Morelater.

We DID! We totally rocked out and won the cappies by a lot! It made me very happy.

Eleven nominations, we won seven of them. That is better then freshman year (percentage wise anyways) and MUCH better then last year.

AND WE WON BEST SET!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess the critics just can't resist 20 foot circular rotating platforms with three 12 foot tall walls that make the entire audience GASP when it moves. :D!

Michelle has a birthday today! Yay!!

Other stuff:

Z'omygods, TMBG. Still too bouncy to write a write-up.

Rivendell: GYAH! I am FOUR TENTHS of a mile from the first shield (25 miles) I am SO DAMN CLOSE!!! *grumbles*

Origami: I have learned how to make origami lilies, and they are BEAUTIFUL! (I made on for Blue for prom out of the scented paper) I loves them.

Secret project is going very very slowly. I'm running behind, probably.

Hesiman: Apparently the opening night miracle did, in fact, occur, and it went loverly. Except Becky's spot which, like all the lights in the freaking theatre, suck.

TMBG: Z'ohmygods, lustwantneedamazing.

Rocky Horror: I'm going again on Saturday-next (the sixth) It will be rocksome!!

Kat, send me info on this Rocky Horrarr Pirate Show thing. I need anything you can get. MUAHAHA!

School: I'm not really doing my AdComp work. *sigh* I'll go get there now. See ya cats and kittens later!!

Ha!

*taunts scooterbird as she skips past him on her way to Rivendell.*

I speant some time at the first campsite today during school. I haven't seen any Ringwraiths yet, which is good.

This is a good week for it-I'm making the usual two from walking to and from school, and an extra when I walk back over for play practise.

SPEAKING OF WHICH!

If you like football, or if you like theatre, or even if you just like *ME* you should totally come to Heisman: the Musical on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. It starts at 7:30, and tickets are ten dollars for adults, and five for students or seniors.

It is the WORLD PREMIER of a musical that no one has ever seen before! Join history...come and enjoy it! Ooooo!! Aaaaah!!

...And I'm not going to be there on Thursday. Shh.

That is all.

Alex. Since he complains when I call him Drummer_Dude, even though D_D makes a cute little face. But I digress.

Alex is one cool Sluggite. He rocks out on drums (no really?) is a huge RenFest fan, and is an ex-techie. Most excellently glorious. I believe we first became friends through our mutual theatre obsessions and the fact that we enjoy glomping people.

He's a terrible flirt (rather like me actually...) which leads to some...*wicked grin* fun conversations between us. *scritchies A.*

He GRADUATED this past year (YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!) which is always a wonderful thing. So congrats on that darling. Good luck with college. And he's currently working at a FIREWORKS store! I am jealous. VERY jealous...

I'd love to be able to hang out with him some time, unfortently, theres this whole Florida thing. It's annoying. Maybe next time I go to Disneyworld. Provided that he actually LIVES somewhere near Disneyworld.

Sadly, I don't think we're heading down anytime soon. And even more sadly is that I really haven't gotten to chat with him very much lately. *tear* I shall have to fix that at some point! *looks determined* Because D_D (sorry, force of habit) Alex is too cool to ignore.

Annnnnd...*mindblanks* That is all! Just know that he is a wonderfully cool Sluggite. And a MOD! Which is *neat!*

Mell is one of the few human reasons why I want to go back to Wyo. She. Is. COOL!!

To start, the first time I ever REALLY talked to her, (During the Jinty play) we wound up having a long conversation on...Homestar Runner! Cool. Stuff!! She loves Homestar Runner, and even drew a LOVERLY picture of him and PomPom in my sketchbook for me. Yay!!

Secondly, her LJ name. TheStoryIsWrong. It's the true story of her life, so the title just makes me giggle.

Thirdly, she's actually cool, unlike the hordes of "boys,make-up,Winona" girls that you find in the older girl parts of Wyo. She's hyper and fun and cool and that is all excellent stuff.

Fourthly: Just the one memory of running into her in the Cobb (dining hall for all you non-Wyoers) and drolling over her "Got Root" hoodie. This is where it gets really cool: It wasn't hers. Her boyfriend let her "Steal" a Got Root shirt. Having an uber-nerd boy/girl friend is the BEST THING EVER! Or amoung them anyways.

And of course, theres the fact that she has a twin sister I don't think I've ever met.

And, well...yes! Mell is Highly Cool Stuff. And I really must get back up to Sunny New England to hang with her again, because I haven't seen her in FAR too long.

And she's one of the few people my age(ish) who can match me in Broadway Plays (*shakes fist*) I think she has relitives in the city or something, because we get to chat about all manner of fun musicals.

And Plus, I think she's going to get to see Sweeny Todd on broadway before me. CURSE YOU!

In the best way possible of course. :D

Kiyi Mell!

Interesting bit of memeage passing through the 'adult' portion of my flist.

Clicky here!

What it is, is a page where you select five or six adjectives that you think describe me best. It then takes you to a page and shows some info about what has and hasn't been picked for me.

It's a neat idea, and fitting with my whole love of sociology.

Other stuff:
One might note that I am using the Memage and Blots title again. I have finally igured it out. Memage refers to the Meme's, and Blots are like blots of ink. See, see! I can be clever too!

Sortof. Ok, so I'm not, shut up. *sulks*

Life:
I got up rediculously early this morning to go play with Flinx at HCC while mom had her chemistry class. I wound up reading the play "I Hate Hamlet!" while waiting for him to arrive, then we went downstairs and played 1000 Blank White Cards! w00t! *dances*

And I think the ratios are slightly off for pre-made and blank cards. I need to look into that.

After HCC, me and mom went to the bank, where I now have a savings account, which is probably good. I'm still too young to withdraw anything, which of course means mom will just steal everything and go to Havana at her earliest convienience. Damn her!

Followed by mall, where I had a lively discussion on life, and the idea that we should attach tracers to the bottoms of the tables and chairs in the food court and trace their migratory patterns. Bookstore, where they had THE PENNY ARCADE BOOK! I'm not a big enough fan to justify buying it, but DUDE! Do you KNOW what this means?! It means Webcomics are becoming more and more in the public eye, and thats just a COOL THING!!

And home. So yeah. Hi, y'all.

*stretches*

Ernest continues to be most satisfactory. The set kicked ass. The play kicked ass. Oscar Wilde kicks more ass then the rest of it put together.

Well, ok, not more then Sarahq. But Sarahq's just badass like that.

Jaimee and Scooter's party last night was equally fun. Hehehe! Scooter is fun to scritch. He goes all melted. And I got to have a loverly chat about webcomics with Jaimee's resident elf-ninja. *makes mental note to go investigate this misfile thing...and Jack*

And I HAVE MY HAT BACK!!! AHM'GAWDS!

If I had a camera, I would be forcing you all to oogle pics of me looking awesome in my hat. Or of the awesomeness that is my hair1. Either one.

And...other stuff. Yay other stuff!

Here's to lazy Sundays.

Oh right, I remember! Eric: WHWB? *raises eyebrow* Y'all's weird.

And I'm back on the boards for the first time in several months. Woo S.n!!

...

Wow. Best. Wrong number. EVER!

Her: Hi there, it's Marsha.
Me: Hi.
Her: So, what're you up to?
Me: ...Uhhh...just hanging...out.
Her: Yeah. Er.
Me: You have a wrong number don't you?
Her: Yeah. I'm sorry about that.
Me: no problem.

Now I really want to call random numbers and have conversations with people. It'd be FUN! Although people might not like it. *sigh*

Wow. I started with an innocent statement, and I have possibly the longest conversation I've ever had with the folk in my head. I may post it later, although it makes little sense.

The Importance of Being Ernest (Which is mega-awesome, playwise) is being preformed at Long Reach High School tonight and tomorrow at 7 PM. Tickets cost 5$ for students, and 7$ for adults. I personally am not in or teching it, but I helped with the set some (which is Godly) and I'm going to be loitering around being hlepful.

So, for those who don't bother reading paragraphs...

What: The Importance of Being Ernest, an awesome play
When: Tonight (Friday) and Saterday at 7 PM (1900 hours)
Where: Long Reach High School (e-mail me for directions, or just google-maps it or something)
Cost: 5$ students, and 7$ adults

And the Why: is of course because Oscar Wilde was brilliant, and it's HILARIOUS! I saw it last night, so I can assure you of that one.

See you there!

I suppose I'm feeling better.

I blame irregular webcomic. Which has the worst puns of any comic I've read since Dominic Deegan.

All you Shakespere fans should get a kick out of this one.

Also, is this the same bfudlmint who fixed Dmitri? It's not exactly a common name or anything...

And that is all.

Wow. Just...wow.

Chris...You TOTALLY win the favorite person of the day award. Eric won yesterdays for sqeeling like a proper shed boy, but subsequently got it taken away for giving me bad thoughts! So thats todays update on favorite peoples.

And....ummm...

DRAMA FIELD TRIP!

So that was fun. I did make-up, which was cool, and Comedy, which was FABULOUS! And I got to hang out wiht the beautiful Leigh. So YAY to that!!

And I also got to watch an ideal-type pretty boy who already looked pretty damn androgynous at the beginning get turned into a girl.

Is it bad that I seem to be minorly obsessed with the idea of drag? Nah, probably not.

And that is all.

Cat and Mouse updated! *gasplustloves!!*

The play('s) last night were quite enjoyable, even if I'm very very horrid at Shakespere. And Rick was wearing this INCREDIBLY hot leather trenchcoat (*drools*).

Bruce stole my hat ruthless-like, but I forgive him A) because I gave it to him really, and B) because he looked quite sexay.

Emily and Allyssa make HIGHLY hot boys.

Veronica makes a funny looking crazy old man.

Eric stole my hat. Bastard. Lilly stole it back for me though, so it's all good.

And I maintain that I did NOT promise to stop anything. You simply put the words in my mouth. So I can tickle you if I please, so nyah.

And techies are awesome. Just...yeah.

So yay! That was my yesterday. I got to see all three shed-boys, Veronica in a beard, and something like seven good actresses dressed as boys.

Recap:

Friday: Went alright, and then I got to babystitting. Oh my. Diane pointed out that DC (Dear Childe) was borderline sick, so if he fell asleep earlier or whatnot I shouldn't worry.

He was asleep when we got home. So, we put him to bed and Diane told me that if he woke up screaming or anything, and seemed to need his Mom (as opposed to this crazy pseudo-mom) to just call her since she was right next door. I was perfectly fine just watching him peacefully. Then he woke up. *headdesks*

I did wind up getting Diane, and she determnined that he prolly had a nightmare or somesuch, since he wasn't feeling as hot/feverish as he was when we put him to bed (hardly any temperature by that point) We wound up chatting for a bit, with Koob just snuggled up against Diane and it was rather nice. I like talking to people.

After she left, DC was his usual bundle of energy, I finally put him to bed 9:30ish and sang to him, and finally got online again around 10:15ish. And that was after just leaving him be since he didn't seem to have any interest in GOING TO SLEEP! Yipes!

Saterday: Aly's friend Natalie wound up coming over, which was cool(ish) I let them play the Sims on my computer while I played with Veronica and Nik and Dan. It was pretty fun. Natalie stayed the night, and I just generally hung out.

Sunday: Pretty good. I went to Jimmy-Grey (My youngest cousin on my moms side)'s B-day party, where mostly I hung out with mom and aunt sara, choosing to avoid the hordes of small children being obsessive about video games. Me and Nik then went over to Jernie and Boe's to play Halo and watch the transformers movie...we didn't finish it, which was a shame. Played a lot of Halo though.

I really really really really suck at Halo. Although, I achieved a new personal record: I killed someone all by myself! Twice even! It made me very happy. I also killed Andy since he was being a sweetheart and standing still so I could just shoot him a lot.

Transformers movie was very amusing. Gotta love the crazy things. I love the fact that the chickbot wears lipstick. Because, you know, she needs it.

Monday: Worked on some girl scouts stuff, and then went to the leader meeting. Which was cool, if a little long. I wound up inviting myself/getting invited to a younger girl troop via thursday to help them learn origami for thinking day.

Tuseday: Couldn't make up it's mind about weather it was a good day or a bad day. Felt incredibly fragile for no real reason in gymnastics and was ready to just start crying at the littlest things. Very annoying, especially since I had to forcefully refocus myself several times. I figured out what I was doing wrong via back handsprings though, so that was good. Maybe I'll be doing them by myself before the year is out.

Today: Was rather nice. Did the whole school thing until English, where I did the whole hang out with Becky and work on review thing. She had the complete HGttG with her and I had raptures over it all period. I didn't steal it though, which was good of me.

She said she got it at the mall, for only 16 dollars or somesuch. If I can find a compy for under 20$, I'm quite definently buying it for myself, so I have my own copy to deface highlight all the good quotes in.

It started snowing today about Englishtime. Someone looked out the window and pointed it out and adjuisted the blinds so everyone could see and it was exciting. Everyone was cheering and whatnot (not real loud or anything) and enjoying the fact that we have snow. *looks outside* It's still going right now, I reckon we have two, or maybe even three inches so far.

I like snow.

I walked home in it, which was nice, although a tad on the cold side (must remember to bring gloves tomorrow...) and Jeff offered me a ride, which is different. I declined, partly since I was enjoying the snow, partly because I was pretty close to home at that point anyway, and partly because his car skidded rather nicely as he pulled up to the curb next to me. No interest in getting into a car accident thanks. I've done that (albeit several years ago.)

Jaimee invited me to CoE again, which I hope to go to, although it occers to me that I should prolly hang out here and study and clean my room, and knock off things on my todo and whatnot. Sigh.

All for now.

EDIT: Since then, I've shovled the walk which isn't fun, found out that CoE is practiced, which works with my plans, and chatted with Kat, which is very fun.
