So yesterday I went to go see Furiosa [no spoilers in this entry], after mentioning in passing to work-bestie Clayton that I wanted to see it in theatres, and him going “oh yeah, me and Angela(wife) want to see it too, wanna go together on Friday?” I am powerless in the face of other people actually making plans for me for things I want to do, so I added jere7my to the order, and the four of us met up and had a jolly time.

Of course I dressed up. I wasn’t going to dress up all the way, I was planning to do just something funny to my hair, but then...the rest of it happened.

IMG_20240531_193119

[image description: A selfie of a white person wearing glasses posing with their hand below their chin. They are wearing black lipstick and extremely messy and overdone black eyeshadow smearing across their face. Their hair is braided with several metal rings, and they are wearing a thicker metal ring as a necklace. Their top appears to be a combination of black binder, orange net scarf, and black bike tubes, while they are wearing several copper and green bracelets.]

IMG_20240531_192616

[image description: A white person wearing glasses and posing in a doorway. They are wearing mad max inspired clothing in shades of brown and orange, with many belt pouches and extra scarves. They have black makeup smeared over their eyes, and a large metal ring as a necklace. Their hair is braided with many more rings and partly pinned up over their head. They have a leather jacket with many (currently unreadable) activist patches on it.]

And so I arrived slightly before jere7my and Clayton and Angela express delight over my outfit and I preen and say something like “yeah, I dressed up for Barbie too”1. And honestly it’s...it’s kindof an interesting and fun thing about my life right now that I’ve seen two movies in theatres in the last year, and dressed up for both of them. Maybe I always dress up for movies now? Maybe if a movie is worth seeing, it’s worth seeing as absurdly and dramatically as possible?

It’s funny because my regular-type friends probably all know by now that I have a discerning eye for fashion and actually do think a lot about How Best To Look Cute, including doing things with my hair and my makeup and my earrings and what have you. I don’t dress up for bells _every_ week, but I definitely dress up some of the weeks, and if I’m going to other things that aren’t bells, I’m gonna think about what I want to wear.

But Clayton, despite being yes a regular-type-friend is also a work-friend and so the context he sees me in most often...isn’t that. He sees me in my work drag, binder and collared shirt and slacks with very little variance. It’s not that I don’t _like_ my work clothes –I have several hawaiin shirts I wear that I’m fond of, and sometimes I do vest and/or tie—it’s just that they’re not...me. They are not particularly fancy or wild or interesting.

And that’s sortof sad and sortof unfortunate and sortof weird and sortof nice? I mean, it’s certainly nice to have less thought required for getting dressed on work days, even if I don’t think of the clothing as “me”. But it’s interesting to have figured out that I do actually care quite a bit about style and looking good –I remain so proud of my Beantown Stomp outfit where I got compliments on literally every article I was wearing visibly- and then to spend so much of my life not actually in that space.

Which is why I just have to dress up extra hard the rest of the time. Because my body isn’t a temple, it’s a canvas and I am here to play.

1: Clayton gets points for immediately bouncing back with “like that?!” because yes very good, very funny.

Today was a good day!

I still played a lot of video games, but like...a few hours total and not like ten. I was really quite ready to ~accomplish stuff~ after several days of accomplishing basically nil, and it was pretty joyous to actually do so!

The biggest thing to accomplish was to finally unpack from Pinewoods, and to do all the post-woods laundry. Ezri had very kindly done a little bit of it for me, but that wanted putting away, and there were still two loads of everything else to wash from the PW + CA adventuretimes I've been having for the past two weeks. So now that's all clean and put away, and I even _hung up_ the closet stuff and folded and put away the sheets. I am terrifying, as long as you ignore the fact that I've been home for five days and ESCape ended like...two and a half weeks ago.

I sorta fucked up with meals --I didn't wake up until about noon (although one bonus point to me for actually getting out of bed then) and so didn't eat breakfast until then, and then basically...forgot...about eating lunch. So I had some leftovers at like six, and then dinner at like...nine? It's fine, I'm fine. Note to self: Eat more tomorrow :P

Because it is Monday night, Austin came over which was lovely. We ate dinner and walked to the pull-up bar for pull-ups and ate ice cream and watched an episode and a half of Leverage and then went outside to see the ISS pass overhead. It continues to be magical, and I encourage y'all to sign up for Spot the Station alerts and maybe set an occasional alarm for yourself when you think it's a time and height you'll be able to see.

Then we finished the Leverage, which means we have finally finished season two! I forgot that season two finishes at basically the nadir (although at least most of the team is deffo together right now). I'm really happy that we've been working on this for the last year or so, and I am hopeful that we will make it the rest of the way through eventually (I've still technically never finished season five of Leverage, shh, no spoilers!)

I will have earned a die today for the first time in a _long_ time. This is not even "oh I've been traveling" long time, it looks like the last time was before the school year let out. Hahahah noooo you get horribly burned out every year at work and need months of brain reset time in which you do nothing. (I love my job. These things are both true.)

I hope you are having a nice night and a nice day and getting to see things you enjoy, like spaceships and good television!

sorcyress: Picture of me as a black-cloaked pirate, on a ship (Pirate-Me)
Okay, so I was poking around the movie server, looking for something to watch, and lo and behold there were all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. It's been a good long while since I saw Black Pearl, and maybe we're cool with Depp again? Whatever, I figured I'd go ahead and watch the first ten minutes or so, because Cap'n Jack Sparrow's entrance remains one of them great cinematic moments.

Holy shit, it turns out this movie holds up!

There's a fully unnecessary dudes-in-dresses bit, and the whole corset drama in the beginning is just painfully inaccurate1 but the movie is full of swagger, good expressions, flashy swordfights, and grand heroics. I knew that I had the remnants of a desperate crush on Sparrow (and they're still there, mostly buried deep and vestigial at this point), and I'm pleased to report that Will is still way _way_ more boring than his love interest, but uh...when did Barbossa get hot?

(Is it the retrospect of knowing he comes back in the rest of the trilogy and becomes a good guy? Is it just getting old enough to develop a thing for Geoffrey Rush?)

Meanwhilst, Norrington really is the only damn grown-up in this movie, with the exception of him being a total dick to Jack at the beginning. I would like him to get scruffy now plz, and I recognize that I have to wait until the second movie for that. And yes, he is Also Hot Now but I think I've known that.

It is a crime Annamaria didn't get her own movies.

Anywho, it's something kinda neat to rewatch something that was _so_ deeply a part of my childhood but also _so_ totally not in my current zeitgeist anymore. I remembered many of the beats as they happened, but had only a vague recollection of the overall plot. Good times!

And yes, dear slash-happy past Kat, obviously I sniggered when Will declared that his place was between Sparrow and Norrington. Because it so is, you sweet little twink.

~Sor

1: Look, like plenty of the movie is historically inaccurate I am sure, but a corset is equivalent to a good bra and ain't no one fainting because their bra was too tight.

It's been a while since I did a con-report, so have a con-report of "My Memorial Day Weekend In Maryland But Not At Balticon", done in the it's-been-a-while "awesome/good/bad/ugly" style.

Overall grade? A double plus even with the shitty parts! )

And it's not con-reportable, but it is good --I've finished a small amount of grading as I ride the train back home to Massachusetts. I am woefully underfed and still have plenty more to complete, but at least it is gradually getting done.

May you find joy in your life. I love you.

Here are some things for today, in no particular order:

*Went through some papers, which has resulted in a dragon's horde of recycling tossed on my floor. It's extremely dramatic, and going to be a pain in the ass to actually clean up into a paper bag and bring to the recycling bin.

*Also progress is ever-so-slowly being made on the whole papers project thing. Sigh.

*I had lunch outside, and there was delicious rolling thunder as I watched the marbles (I've been rewatching the old marblelympics while watching the current season, I've just about finished the 2018 winter games, which were stunning). I was largely done with lunch when the sky-water started to appear, so I finished my yogurt from the relative safety from the porch and then when that started to get too damp, went inside.

*My hair is in a bunch of skinny braids to make it all wavy later, am happy about this, but man is it actually kinda annoying. I managed to somehow half-pin it (read: pinned it up with the hairstick but then it half-unraveled) which was quite charming and gave me the effect of the long braids without the annoyance of going over my ears and getting in my face.

*Was morose at Ezri. Also cried for a bit this evening. Neither of these things have made me feel long-term better, since the underlying causes tend to boil down to "it's a pandemic, things are fucking terrible".

*I am incredibly fond of the Trogdorization of the Seattle Kraken logo. Also, how fucking badass is "the Kraken" as a sportsteam? Dang! I like hockey, in a vague "not actually following but damn it's pretty to watch" sort of way, and now I can have a favourite hockey team that doesn't make people hate me because Boston.

*I've been reading Shlock Mercenary. One of the incredibly rich things about the internet is that there are webcomics out there with literal decades, plural, of comics at this point. I've been enjoying, over the last couple years, going through and embracing some of these!

I started talking about webcomics, and like I am wont to do, got excited )

*I am playing a shark clicker game and it's very cute and I'm resolutely not looking anything up about it which means I'm probably doing terribly. I spent way too much time on it yesterday, but today was an alright balance (since good clicker games work best as played in 5 minute increments once an hour or so).

*I should go to bed, which means I should clean my room. Ugh. Maybe I put everything on the floor and clean it tomorrow. Goodnight?

1: The offhand "top five" I tend to name are (in no order): xkcd, Narbonic, Order of the Stick, 1/0 -slash- Leftover Soup, and an ambiguous fifth slot that I fill with various whatever-jumps-to-mind. Really, my all time favourite webcomic *ever* remains Narbonic, which I love enough that when Shaenon kickstarted a reprint drive of the two volume full-story set, I went ahead and purchased a second complete copy, even though it's basically identical. Currently they're lent to Austin and Bee, but seriously, if you wanna read this mad science comic and you need paper, let me know.

2: I thought the other day about maybe trying to make a list of every webcomic that I was caught up with and reading regularly at one point or another, and then decided that that's the crazy talking, and I'm not quite there. I wonder how many comics would be on my list that no one else would remember or know about. Ohmygod, Irritability still exists and is even being updated? As is 21st Century Fox? And Antihero For Hire??? I thought it was exciting when I refound SGVY4, dang, everything is still going! (I wonder if Ghastley is still online...uh...don't search for that one.)

3: Oh! Somewhere between Freefall and OotS, I started re-reading College Roomies From Hell, which was one of my first favourites alongside Sluggy. I read a ton of stuff I remembered, and then a much more ambiguous batch of stuff I sorta remembered and then stuff I mostly didn't remember and then it got Really Dark And Sad and I stopped caring entirely. Which is fascinating, because (see above) I can generally do dark and also crappy.

4: ...which apparently has had a huge site redesign as of June29th and the comic itself is not up again yet. Whoops?

Tonight I went and saw GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS as hosted by the Slaughterhouse Sweeties. It was _extremely excellent_. There are gonna be spoilers in the rest of this post, but also honestly, it's a Godzilla movie. Exactly what you expect to happen does.

Here be monsters! )

So seriously, A+ movie watching experience, really wonderfully joyous audience, and a FUN monster experience. I'm definitely gonna have to go dig up some more Godzilla movies when I get a chance!

~Sor
MOOP!

1: Not that I am in any way a Godzilla/kaiju expert2, but one of the themes I *really* like to see them explore is the fact that, to the Titans, we are essentially insects. We are far too small to make any impact on them, and while they could have us as pets, it's more of an aggregate "I have a bunch of ants in my farm" than a specific "the white cat is Mr. Foofums and the black one is Thirty Steps of Death"

2: This was probably my fourth ever kaiju movie...and one of the others4 was PacRim, so like...yeah.
((To be clear, Pacific Rim is awesome, but it's also American, and I am given to understand that we did not originate the genre and therefore I don't want to make blanket statements about it without having a better cultural grounding.))

3: I am a horrible movie-talker, he likes to take in things in utter silence. We've managed to make it work as regular movie-watching buddies, and this sort of thing is exactly the kind of compromise why --I'll stay silent during premieres of Star Wars, because I know how much that matters to him, and he'll snark back with me on the kaiju movie, because it's the right space for it.

4: I've seen at least one Gamora (possibly with Joel and the bots) and I definitely watched some episodes of the animated Godzilla and Godzooky show.

Bytheway, since I love my LJ friends far more than I love my Facebook friends:

Mad Max was the BEST EVER. I am planning to go see it again, but this time I'ma dress up with the proper post-apocalyptic dieselpunk aesthetic. Y'all should hella join me!

From the book of faces:

Mad Max: Fury Road is the finest action movie I have seen in my entire life. I can squee for hour about all the greatness, especially about the fact that it has multiple well-rounded female characters...to the extent where it barely passes the reverse bechdel test.

No, the movie is not perfect, but so far, it's the closest we've ever come to the platonic ideal of River Tam Beats Up Everyone. It is goddamn fucking delightful.

I'm gonna go see it again on Sunday, because *damn* but it's great. I'm gonna dress up in costume, because I'm a Big Fucking Nerd and the dieselpunk post-apocalyptic aesthetic makes my heart flutter. YOU SHOULD ALL JOIN ME IN THESE THINGS!

(Seriously, I found some silver non-toxic spray stuff for witnessing and everything.)

Somerville Theatre, 7:30 pm showing, Sunday May 31st. BE THERE, MY FRIENDS!

(And like, if you want to go, but can't afford to, let me know I will one hundred percent seriously start a scholarship fund for helping people see this movie.)

This weekend has been awesome for productivity!

So, I am at the Bananamines for ten days, to catsit. Being as I am pretty much forced to be staying in a strange place for that span of time, I decided to try really hard to actually get stuff done in a dedicated kind of fashion.

This...worked out surprisingly well for me! I did not realize it would actually work, and I am happy for this. Yesterday, after Candidate Class, Lauren came over. We watched Wolfcop and Treasure Planet (while I graded half of the 7th grade tests, which is more than a little bit excellent.)

Tonight, I finished grading those (yay!). But before that, Lauren and I ran a _ton_ of errands. Most important of these was getting out to the bike shop and buying all the things I need to make my bike ridable again. Tomorrow, I go to the Asylum with my rad bike friend Scott, and he works his magic.

We also got excellent social time, and went out for Chinese food. By the time I went to demo team practice, I was already feeling like I'd gotten things done. Now, at 11:30? Oh yeah. I am awesome.

We'll see if the trend continues. And if it does, I may just have to move in full time.

sorcyress: Just a picture of my eye (Me-Eye)
Spent most of the weekend sick as a dog --fever on Sunday, culminating in puking after a bus ride (sighhhh) and sleeping for most of the day, and then just general clouded head and awful feelings on Sunday. I did get some homework and stuff done, but it kindof just throws into relief how much homework I have left to do.

The only possible reason I would have to celebrate Bin Laden's death is if it meant I no longer had to get groped at the airports. Oddly, I don't think this is going to happen. Fuckyeah cynicism. Am I glad we caught one of the "bad guys"? Sure, go US. Do I think death should ever result in celebration? Seriously, no.

I have amazing friends. Who utterly ignore my "no seriously, please don't buy me things, honestly" which is annoying. That being said, it did mean that my rolling out of bed fifteen minutes before I was supposed to be on the bus (otherwise known as forty-five minutes late) was not as wholly awful as it could have been --I had bagel and ramen to grab for breakfast and lunch.

I also have a new hat that I will have to take a picture of when I get home. It is Slightly Ridiculous.

Forgot my Concerta, and I can feel my brain suffering for it. Really need to remember to drop off my prescription at CVS today, since I'm practically out. NTS: Insurance card, actual ID.

Shlock movies on Friday at jere7my's. Lady Terminator and Rock and Roll Hotel. Both were enjoyable and snarkable, and the company was excellent. Also, homemade sticky rice with mango. I would like to put all of it in my mouth, forever. Forever.

My head is terrifically stuffed up, and it is making it difficult to feel like a real human. I kinda wish I could hide somewhere and sleep for a period or two, but I know I have to get shit done. On the plus side, I made a list of all the shit I have to get done in order to graduate. On the minus side, oh _dear gods_.

Gonna go work on _something_ now. Hopefully I will get things done and the like. Whee.

So, good stuff:

+Random friendly stranger that did not attempt to rape or kill me
+Really *really* astoundingly nice taxi drivers who accept ten dollars for what probably should've been a 16-18 dollar fare (Of which, it's worth mentioning, I only paid five dollars of.)
+'Who Framed Roger Rabbit', which is visually lovely and I'm annoyed I hadn't seen it in so long
+Pushing the number of MST3K's I've seen up to four! (Manos, Teenagers from outer space, Giant Gila Monster, and now --POD PEOPLE!)
+Hanging out with Jere7my
+Nutella
+My underlings

So, bad stuff:

-Potentially failing a save vs. disease
-Our theatre not having a clear connection between backstage left and backstage right
-Thunderstorms and hail
-The juxtaposition of the two above
-Insecurity
-Being slightly unsteady on my feet and a touch headachey and nauseous and kinda not at all focusing well --it feels a little bit like sleep dep, except I got something like seven or eight hours (admitedly slightly fractured) last night.
-Alarm clocks.

'sall for now. Going to go have a sit down for a bit.

Where it's COLD! Stupid working AC's to keep the compys from imploding. *grin*

I don't especially have anything to report. My mother is currently in the South Pacific somewhere, cruising around and heading towards Bora Bora. Which, as jealous as I am, is cool, because I get to have St. Grandma chilling out and watching us kids. She's clever enough to know that we're generally good kids, and can mostly take care of ourselves, so yeah. Good stuff.

Spent most of Saturday hanging out with Ksatyr, mostly watching more HOUSE and mowing his lawn for him. House = highly addictive. Which means that yes, mek, you can say any varient of "I told you so" that you choose.

Saturday night was Rocky Horror, which I managed to babble through somehow.

Sunday was completely crowded together --I woke up at about three thirty (EEK! --So much for getting up before noon every day. :p) and had to clean the catbox, do a psych project, and eat dinner, all in rapid sucession. Then I went off to a girl scout thing, collapsed onto Dmitri a bit, and went to bed, somewhat tired.

And yeah. That's my weekend. In the meantime, it's time to go home and ignore my homework. See you lot later!

Question: Is Gmail not working for anybody else? There are things on there that I wannnnnnnt!!

OtherQuestion Which "somewhere in the near future" potrayel of New York City do you like better, Escape From New York or The Warriors?

Ditzy Moment of the Week: Hokay, so yesterday I had to leave practise early to go and get my braces adjusted for the LAST TIME EVER YAH! Anywho, I slink backstage to go say goodbye to my absolutely fantabulous best friend Veronica. I say "bye", she gives me a look and says "Kat, what happened to your backpack?"

I pause, go "Nothing, why?" and look at the backpack I was wearing. It was pink.

Process...process...process...

"Ok, V? I'm going to go get *MY* backpack, and then I'll leave."

So yeah. Apparently, having a bright frigging orange backpack just isn't distinctive enough. I still don't know which actor almost lost their backpack to my obliviousness.

Advertisement: Guess what musical the Long Reach Drama Department is putting on THIS time!! That's right --we're doing that classic tale of an sweet and innocent Australian gal who turns into a good ol' American slut!!

Yes, we are doing Miss Barry's least favourite musical -- GREASE!!

((Mrs. Blasko's coup is complete. :p))

AT ANY RATE! All hatred of the show itself aside, our cast looks pretty damn good, and our crew is, of course, specTACular. If you like Grease, drama, Long Reach, or me, you should totally come and see it.

Five W's and an H:
Who: Long Reach Drama Department, directed by crazy-lady Mrs. Blasko, AD'd by everyone's favourite Veronica, staring (Amoung others) suddenly-not-so-goofy-and-Gideonlike Billy as Danny Zuko, Graham as the gayest Kenickie ever, Dan (V's little brother) as a totally typecast Eugene, and a sweet little asian girl (Namely, Seoung-Hee) as the blonde, beauty-school dropout, Frenchie.

Plus, a whole heap of really spectacular freshmen in the chorus, most notably Vicki, who is almost as cool as her sister.

What: Grease! An all-American musical, set in the fifties, written in the seventies, and performed in the...ooglies. Whatever the hell this decade is called. It's a *classic!*

Where: Long Reach High School Auditorium. E-mail me (kdsorceress at gmail dot com) for directions if you need them, or just hit up your favourite internet mapping program.

When: April 12, 13, and 14 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) at 7:30 PM. Doors open at 7ish or so, and while I'd totally be willing to sneak you backstage to hang out with me before that, Blasko'll kirk out and that'll totally suck.

Why: I'll be honest, because our drama department wants the money. Oh! I mean, because then you can support high school theatre, and our lovely, awesome, cast. And it'll be fun. C'mon, it's Grease. It's a fun show. (It's not a good, or moral show, but it's fun.)

PLUS!! It's my senior show. It's the last show I will ever work for here at the Reach (I cannot believe I just said that) and the fact that I have been part of all the shows at the school except the very first one is just cool and means I'm really going to miss this place.

How: You get your butt to Long Reach, then you buy a ticket. We'll let you in, and it'll all be good and stuff.

Tickets cost ten dollars each, for everyone. Personally, I believe this is ludicrus in several different ways, but Blasko is stupidlike that. On the plus side, if you know that you're going to come, you can pre-order tickets and they'll only cost seven dollars each. (Again, e-mail me to ask. E-mail is still kdsorceress at gmail dot com.)

Link: Boomshine is WAY addictive. But it's really quite fun, and very very pretty.

Basically, you're trying to cause long chain reactions of explosions of these surreal multicoloured balls that are bouncing around the screen, all set to lovely music.

For now, that is all. Status is Not Yet Dead.

Don't read this until you have YOUR list ready!! )

Alright, back to general life.

I've only got internet on teh weekends. But thats ok.

Still not going to touch the webcomics. Not yet. Not until I have full, legal acess to Dmitri again.

*sigh* I miss 'em.

Other stuff:

*I went garage saleing yesterday. I picked up a pair of clunky black leather boots, a translucent plastic chair (I'm going to paint it) a beanie-baby penguin (for a dollar...remember when you couldn't find beanie babys for less then 6 or 7 a pop?) which I promptly named Ms. Hecubus, a purse, and a camera bag. It ruled.

*I also went to the aquarium yesterday with Zily (Lily and Zoe), and a couple of friends of theres, David and Leah. It was very cool, especially the skates, and the fish I befriended. He was a very cool fish, all neon-striped and whatnot. We had a long conversation, turns out he's a total theatre boy, and a bit of a drama-queen. He said he was also quite gay, which made me smile.

It was Jonny!!!!! in fish form. :D

*Me and Veronica went for a walk today, with Rex. It rocked.

*Played Halo with Shan and Mike Royster and Veronica. also fun, although, like usual, I got my butt kicked.

*This morning I finally caught up and saw EpIII. I liked it, although I found Anikin INCREDIBLY whiny. CHEER UP! I don't see what all those girls see in him. :p

*I think thats all...ego-boost writing will commence shortly.

Happy 2K5 everyone!!

The party rocked. My camera is somewhere in the house, but I don't know where. Yeah. I'm writing this on Nathen's computer (Nathen rocks!!) and the spacebar refuses to work.

Happy New Year.

Not much news besides the fact that the party rocked, Fish likes his nDGGD gift, Speaker got me the Making Fiends DVD, and Nathen is cool.

Copious amounts of notetaking at last nights girl scout meeting. Loads of 'em. I love it though, the only part about it I'm not particularily into is the whole typing them up afterwards, but I'll get there.

In other news, we are going to seriously try to make enough moolah to get to London in 2k6. It's about 1500 a person, and we have 3 girls and 3 adults so...

Additionally, if you have any ideas of fun things to do in London or the close surrounding area, or better yet, any GRAND ideas for fund-raising things and you're willing to share them, that'd be awesome. Keep in mind that there are only three of us though...

In other news, I saw Princess Diaries 2 last night. It was fairly good for a chick-flick, and I didn't need too much explaining of who everyone was (I never saw the first) the music didn't leap out at me as being exceptional, but V and KT seemed to like it, so it must have been at least a little good.

Conversation about Prince William:
Me: So, Is it just me or is Prince William not really that cute.

Veronica: He's not. It's just that he's a Prince! What girl wouldn't want to be a princess?

It'd be interesting, but I think I'd be the worst princess ever. )

ORIGINS::::::::::::

Was orgasmic, as it should be.

Wow. Now theres an adjictive I don't use often. >.<

Anyway, Origins was as absolutely utterly amazing as it could possibly be, and I love it with all my heart and more.

It is my homeplace, where I am myself. It is not considered completely odd to go galloping down the hallways banging coconut halves together. It is not considered in bad form to shout ALL HAIL KING TORG in response to the lovely 9th level games people. It is not considered (extreemly) blasphemous to suddenly get down on your knees and start playing a game of Satan!...It's just awesome. I love Origins SO MUCH!!!

*Labbit = Mad Lab Rabbit = Someone who works for Loony Labs

**The lab is where Loony Labs hangs out and do most of their tournements, seminars, and demos. Very awesome place, and where I spend most of my time. Especially when it's time to hunt werewolves!

(*3)Generi's = my affectionate nickname for the cute little generic tokens they had.

(*4)Flub. A word I litterally just made up as I was writing this. It means most magnificent, wonderful, amazing, fantabulous, fun, loud, creative, entergetic, quirky, great, awesome, stupendeous, terrific, and a whole lot of other adjectives. And cool. Except it really means BEYOND cool.

(*5)When it's not being addicts anyway...more on this later.

I need to make myself a Sir Didymus costume. You know. The most excellently awesome little dog from Labrynth.

I love him so much. He's just cool.

*collapses* As per usual, I had quite a busy weekend, which leads to the question...whos bright idea was it for me to have a social life??

Yours

Fine, it was your idea, got it. Anyway, I had a lot of socialness this weekend.

With who?

I'm getting there, stop inturrupting. And anyway, you know who, you're me. Woah that sounds really freaky.
