Dude! David Morgan-Mar is auctioning off his scripts notebook! That is *so cool!!* I really wish I had a spare couple of hundread dollars to buy that with, even if I don't know what I'd do with it.

Actually, I do have other uses for my money, but still, getting a notebook full of the scripts to one of the better comics out there? Priceless. Best of luck to whoever wins.

Webcomic news:

Order of the Stick makes me giggle ruthlessly. Seriously, I laughed aloud, which is reasonably rare for me. OotS does it well though.

Mookies moving to Texas! What the fuck!!

Who in their right mind would move from *Boston* to Texas. Nothing bad meant against my lovely older sister or Kyu, but it's all conservitive* and hot down there, and just not fun.

***

Today's events was going to the orthoplace, where they helpfully did *not* say "Guess what, you're getting your braces off", going to Mongolian Grill for Sashi-Chris's birthday, which was tasty, and going to the park and playing vollyball, which is fun, but I suck at it.

Then we had a waterfight, which I am reasonably better at, and is why I'm wearing a skirt again, since my pants are damp.

Came home, played Puerto Rico instead of chatting with Thorog, which has lead me to think about relationships and responsibilities as they relate to each other (Is it better to be social and do something you have no interest in, or to curl up by yourself and do something that actually makes you happy? What if curling up by yourself *is* social, but it's social with people online rather then off? Do people who are really here in my house have more of an obligation for my time then people who I only really communicate with through a computer? What if I was talking to the people online first? What if I like the people online better, or they're more in need of my attention? Should I be making all this into a seperate entry?

Sadly, the only one I've an answer for is the last one -yes. I'm probably going to forget all about this now.

End parentheses.) and personally, I think it was the less good of the two ideas. Yes, I got to play with Eric and Josh and mom. Yes, I've talked to Tho pretty much every day in the past week. But I'm not a huge Puerto Rico fan, which is terrible of me, as it's the best game my parents, and Paul and Bruce, and Billy and Yury, and now Josh have ever found, and I'm a freak for disliking it.

...I'm...a bit bitter at the moment. Yeeeah.

I should probably stop writing now, as I can feel the angst wrapping it's cold dark hand around my writings. Which isn't good.

Have a good day kids.

Countdown: (Because I haven't had a one of these in a couple years, and important things are coming up.)

Sashi's birthday!: two days
AlleyCats...come out to plaa-ay!: four days
Mom's Birthday party: seven days
Mom's Birthday: thirteen days
SNAKES ON A MOTHERF****** PLANE!: Only TWENTY DAYS LEFT! (I'm totally psyched for this)
Work starts: twenty nine days
School starts: thirty days (Just a month? Shisus)
My Birthday: Thirty days
Miss Irva/Amanda/Hannah's birthday: Thirty days. (Sense a pattern?)
Veronica's Birthday: thirty three days

And that's all of August. Woot.

That's all for now. Other things to write, but not here. See you kots and koshka's later.

Solife.

Senior pictures were yesterday. I look...decent. If I get un-lazy, I'll scan the proofs.

Hehehe. Me not scanning things these days is all because I'm lazy. Because I HAVE A SCANNER! And that makes me happy.

Weird dreams last night. The world was about to end and everyone had to die or something like that. It was unsettling, but when I woke up, I forgot about it, until I accidentally ran into it via Elsewhere. The part I remember clearly was being in an elevator with KT and Sashi. We were going to plunge down and die, because everyone had to, and this way was reasonably painless.

The scary part was that it was only three floors down, but it took a phenomenally long time to plummet once they cut the ropes.

And for some reason, I recall kissing Sashi. Which is...different. I might have kissed KT too, I don't remember. Stupid cryptic dreams.

Comic news of the day is College Roomies From Hell!!! ZOHMYGODSABOUTDAMNTIME!!!

Also, I can't remember if I pointed you lot over to the most recent Order of the Stick yet or not. But dude, AD&D totally stands for Attention Deficit Disorder. :D

Dude, Fish is the wins for the day. He brought me the Eagles version of Journey of the Sorcerer. DudeforthewinsYAY!

And for anyone who doesn't know, the version I have of Journey of the Sorcerer (From the H2G2 movie soundtrack) is my most played song by...a lot. About 70 more times to anything else. Whoot music, especially nerd based music.

In other news, it's REALLY hard to type while sitting on my desk. Blame Fish for that, he stole my chair. *shakes fist*

And now he's trying to sway my mind with facts, like I sat down first! BAH AND LIES!!

I love my friends. :D

In other news, sitting on my desk is bad because I keep leaning against the secertary. And I'm going to accidentally knock it over, which would in fact be Bad.

So, yayforchairs.

And hummmmm...plots. *checks stalkerfile*

...Teh FRAKE? Stupid lack of freaking orginizational skills. *grumbles*

Well, there goes THAT plot. No matter, I have other ones to focus on. Involving birthday presents.

And ohyeah, I need to send mek's prezzies to him, don't I. Cruft. >.<

Maybe I can so that...soon. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. *sighs* That means I have things I have to type, and WHY ARE ALL MY PLOTS SO COMPLICATED?!

I'm good.

Alright, this post has dissolved into so much cryptic babbling. Ta then!

G'morning!

Livejournal? Caught up with, at least the past week or so. I had to pull a restart recently, so if there was something devestatingly important that you posted between my trip to Germany and last Monday, I missed it.

Webcomics? Also known as drugs, and caught up with. Also, today's Order of the Stick is the freaking WINS! Anyone who has even a LITTLE bit of gaming background, go read Order of the Stick, all of it, right now. I am dead serious, you NEED to read this comic.

And Rich is my uncle's arch-nemisis. Which is SO COOL! (long story, comment if you're interested)

E-mail? My yahoo account is nothing but mail from colleges who have gone "ZOHMYGODS, you took the PSATS and we want you!!" Or, in other words, completely ignorable.

Gmail is done with, minus the ten trillion messages from mek I haven't bothered to deal with. Ten at a time, hm? BAH!

It's all his fault. :p

There's nothing else I *need* to do on the interwebs at the moment. I COULD go poke my head into Sluggy.net and see what they're up to, but it's getting to the point where everyone I know or want to keep up with from S.n has an elljay. Actually, wait, I could go check up on both snopes and bash.org. Back secondish.

Right, NOW I'm done.

So, that's the internet for me. Comics, elljays, e-mail, snopes, and Bash. Other stuff is cool, but not required to be checked on a relitivly often basis.

So, onto real life. Senior pictures today, as opposed to yesterday. Yeaaaaah. I don't really do pictures. I don't really do anything that requires me to sit still and pose. Which counts being hemmed. Most boring moment of my life was probably when Veronica was hemming up the dress I borrowed from Tyler last year for CappiesGala. Not because Veronica is boring, but her mouth was full of pins so I couldn't talk to her, so all I could do was STAND THERE!

And that is why books were invented. God bless Johann Gutenberg, and God bless the printing press. And is it a bad thing that I can remember exactly WHICH book I read that day? 'Twas the TMBG part of Chrome Circle...

Yes, I'm a litdork. If you didn't know this already...well...wow. You don't pay attention. I may not always have a book on me, but I always have SOMETHING to write on/in, and a pen...or several. I'll write on myself if I don't have any paper (currently my arm says I [heart] ink poisoning.) I think it's a prereq to being a writer...

Currently, I'm looking at this compisition book and debating whether or not to type up the elljay entry I wrote in here. I will eventually, it's babbling about candy and England, but I think that it deserves it's own entry. So, later.

Other reallife stuff? I think I slept wrong, my back hurts, and twisting to the right so that my shoulders are more then about thirty degrees perpendicular to my legs REALLY HURTS! (for contrast, I can hit nearly ninty degree's if I twist to the left) I haven't figured out what stretch I'm supposed to be doing to fix it either, which is the worst of it.

I like being flexible. Being able to place my palms on the floor with my legs together and knees unbent without having to warm up first is COOL. I should start learning more yoga, since I'm *not* taking gymnastics anymore, and yes kung-fu stretches me out, but I think I'm probably losing some of it.

(Also, doing shoulderstands are HARD! Or rather, it's almost numbingly easy, or was, until I realized that to do it proper, you need your whole body to be straight. Huh. I'll have to get Diane to show me how to do it proper when I see her next...I'm not tilted over far, but I'm a perfectionist, and I have this whole advantage of being young and stretchy.)

In better news, my knee has healed up pretty well. It's got a LOVELY bruise on it, all purple and red. So, from one problem to another. I just wish I could convince my body to COOPERATE for a while, and not get hurt. :p

I miss gymnastics. I should go practise arials out in the sledding field sometime, and swear a lot at how far I've slipped. (I used to be able to do them, I swear!) I don't miss the people or the being FAR too much older then anyone else or the CD memories (Rest in peace), but I miss the actual thing of gymnastics. Kung-fu's fun and all, but it's not the same. There's a lot less flying...

I'm apparently wont to babble these days. 'sok, I can handle that. If I felt like it, I would go turn on IM and babble to people -Marc surely, since I have yet to see him offline (I don't understand you people with your messages of one sort or another for weeks at a time. Is it some grand secret that no one's told me that it's better to never turn off your computer or somesuch?) and probably a handful of other people I may or may not feel like talking to. Jarne's probably awake, I saw him in passing earlier. mek's sleeping, Tho should be sleeping, and Ksatyr's at work.

Oh yes, pictures though. I should, you know, brush my hair out. It's probably REASONABLY brushed, but meh. Have to look good for pictures.

Effing braces.

I need to babble about my hair in here sometime. Because it's excellent. Possibly with pictures.

I think that's all for the now. Ta.

Firstly, my internet connection has been iffy as of late. So, if I dissapear mysteriously for several days, 'snot my fault.

It seems to have sorted itself mostly out though, and I'm practically caught up with my drugs. I just need to check to make sure there's nothing I missed...

There we goes. Zombie game really has eaten my brain. Anything that I'll check before comics is officially an obcession. Whoops.

Speaking of comics...News of the todayish.

Something Positive has brought a smile to my face today. Randy may be the master of doing those sudden "awwww!" moments. Yes, he's a snarky bastard, but he can do things like this, and like Faye, and it's just...well put together.

Queen of Wands is updating it's commentary again! Yay for that. Also, that's the flower comic I was referenceing however many posts ago. The fact that girls are all "Flowers!" and won't ever get them for themselves.

Questionable Content and Part Two Made me giggle SO HARD! I am in love with the DEATHBOT 9000. Such a fabulous bit charecter. And pintsize always has the best comics.

College Roomies From Hell Dave has gone almost rediculously silly. It's...amazingly bizarre. I think I like it though, and I'm half expecting him and Roger to get into a Nonsense Contest.

Cheshire Crossing This is a comic book type comic done by the brilliance behind Casey and Andy It's VERY cool, the first issue has just gone live, and I'm totally intrigued. (Holy hell...almost to the fanfiction point...stay good Kat, stay GOOD!) I think you should all go read it, even if you have to wait forever for updates.

And that's the webcomic news of the day. I think I'm going to start doing that a lot more, just getting my comics out there. Maybe I should just start posting on snarkoleptics...

If Raven can't date Sven, can I? Just a thought...

GASP! Even though it's TOTALLY within charecter for Belkar to do that, it makes me sad.

I think that's all for the nowing.

Oh yes. The zombie game has TOTALLY eaten my brain. I am ALL ABOUT you lot becoming my minions. Drop me a comment with your e-mail, and I'll eat your brain as well.

First off, I was tagged by Aren. Eek?

Five things I can be bribed with:

1) New Cat and Mouse comics. Although not nessecarily to the point where I'll send presents or anything, although I will certainly be good. Or something.

2) Sugar. I am a sugar-whore. This is a bad thing.

3) Men in Kilts. Because they are hot. And that makes me silly and easily impressionable.

4) Dancing. If you take me out dancing, I will love you forever. Need my secrets? Sure, where's the nearest ballroom?

5) Friendship.

Tagging....[livejournal.com profile] artemisfowl2nd, [livejournal.com profile] macaroniandtuna, [livejournal.com profile] drama_angel3189, [livejournal.com profile] jarne, and [livejournal.com profile] heptadecagram.

Stolen from Alex:
Say 20 things to different people that you have never told them; they can be 20 different people, or only a few. Don't say who each one is for.

1) You are SO frustrating. Gyuh. Something about you is just too damn wonderful, you cocky wanker. Makes me want to dump my gal at times...
2) Honestly? I know there has to have been a time before I ever met you. But it just doesn't register in my memory banks. I have always known you, and I always will. It's part of who we are.
3) You're so different from me, and yet I still want to grow up to be just like you.
4) It's weird, you tend to be such an evil person at times, but I love you so much. Because you are just SO DAMN COOL! And yes, I think you should be nicer sometimes, but at the same time...it's a huge part of your charm.
5) I miss you. You were a big part of my life last year, and now you're gone. Theres no one left to fight with anymore...
6) You drive too fast. But it's fun, and you at least seem to know what you're doing, so I forgive you. And no, this isn't towards you, Paulyanne...
7) You have horrid taste in women. Out of the last few girlfriends you've had that I know, I only like one of them. Two of the others were sluts and the third...I'm still reserving judgement. But she's a relationship-breaker. And that pisses me off.
8) I hate that I can name more boys then I can count on one hand who have had crushes on you. Especially when we get to the fact that so many of them I wanted too.
9) I love you. I know I don't always succeed in showing it, but I really do think you're an utterly amazing person. And I love you JUST the way you are.
10) I should have kissed you properly at New Years...It's an interesting What-If to ponder in my lonlier hours...
11) I've been thinking about you (about us) a lot lately. Reading old writings, remembering old dreams. Strangly, I'm not bitter. I've released myself from your maze.
12) I have yet to hear you take back your statement that homosexuality in any form is untolerable. You cannot truly be considerd a friend until that happens.
13) Wanna shag?
14) Of course I try and cover you up. I'm a prude. But really, i just admire your confidence to be so open about your body and who you are.
15) I have fallen back in love with you, and that is the best feeling in the world.
16) I say many things to you, but I don't think you hear. I dream of a day when you can respond. I know your parents do too.
17) I don't think you realize how utterly awesome that one night was, or why. Ever feel completely loved and wanted? Yeah, that was it.
18) You will be hugged when we meet, whether you like it or not. Gottit?
19) I have never forgiven you for that, and I doubt I ever will. You just don't (didn't?) get how GODDAMN MUCH my planet means to me.
20) I thank whatever beings that are out there that I have you. Very few people are this lucky.

Interesting bit of memeage passing through the 'adult' portion of my flist.

Clicky here!

What it is, is a page where you select five or six adjectives that you think describe me best. It then takes you to a page and shows some info about what has and hasn't been picked for me.

It's a neat idea, and fitting with my whole love of sociology.

Other stuff:
One might note that I am using the Memage and Blots title again. I have finally igured it out. Memage refers to the Meme's, and Blots are like blots of ink. See, see! I can be clever too!

Sortof. Ok, so I'm not, shut up. *sulks*

Life:
I got up rediculously early this morning to go play with Flinx at HCC while mom had her chemistry class. I wound up reading the play "I Hate Hamlet!" while waiting for him to arrive, then we went downstairs and played 1000 Blank White Cards! w00t! *dances*

And I think the ratios are slightly off for pre-made and blank cards. I need to look into that.

After HCC, me and mom went to the bank, where I now have a savings account, which is probably good. I'm still too young to withdraw anything, which of course means mom will just steal everything and go to Havana at her earliest convienience. Damn her!

Followed by mall, where I had a lively discussion on life, and the idea that we should attach tracers to the bottoms of the tables and chairs in the food court and trace their migratory patterns. Bookstore, where they had THE PENNY ARCADE BOOK! I'm not a big enough fan to justify buying it, but DUDE! Do you KNOW what this means?! It means Webcomics are becoming more and more in the public eye, and thats just a COOL THING!!

And home. So yeah. Hi, y'all.

Ernest continues to be most satisfactory. The set kicked ass. The play kicked ass. Oscar Wilde kicks more ass then the rest of it put together.

Well, ok, not more then Sarahq. But Sarahq's just badass like that.

Jaimee and Scooter's party last night was equally fun. Hehehe! Scooter is fun to scritch. He goes all melted. And I got to have a loverly chat about webcomics with Jaimee's resident elf-ninja. *makes mental note to go investigate this misfile thing...and Jack*

If I had a camera, I would be forcing you all to oogle pics of me looking awesome in my hat. Or of the awesomeness that is my hair1. Either one.

And...other stuff. Yay other stuff!

Here's to lazy Sundays.

Oh right, I remember! Eric: WHWB? *raises eyebrow* Y'all's weird.

And I'm back on the boards for the first time in several months. Woo S.n!!

Wow. Best. Wrong number. EVER!

Me: Hi.
Her: So, what're you up to?
Me: ...Uhhh...just hanging...out.
Her: Yeah. Er.
Me: You have a wrong number don't you?
Her: Yeah. I'm sorry about that.
Me: no problem.

Now I really want to call random numbers and have conversations with people. It'd be FUN! Although people might not like it. *sigh*

Wow. I started with an innocent statement, and I have possibly the longest conversation I've ever had with the folk in my head. I may post it later, although it makes little sense.

Just finished re-reading the archives of Questionable Content. Really no reason for it, besides the fact that it's really good, THE QUAKERS WERE MASTERS OF SEIGE WARFARE! and it's been on my mind.

Of course, me being me, I can't figure out which of the girls I'm most like. Faye's one of the charecters in the world who I aspire to be, besides the issues, and I'm closest to her in looks (I want an Aerodynamically Curvaceous shirt...) but I don't think of myself as quite that violent, and I'm definently more flirtatious. Dora and Raven are both TOO flirtatious for me, although oft is the time I'll feel like Raven, and I tend to think of myself as sortof a 'nice girl' like Dora.

Maybe Hannelore. *wolfgrin* Because associating myself with OCD-type stalkers isn't creepy AT ALL! But I do agree with her whole "sex = mess and ick" thing.

I dunno. Just the random thoughts that have been on my mind lately, when I haven't been busy with school or play.

All of a sudden, I have no life...

Woo Friday Night Chats!

It really is fun. Especially because online, you CAN get really dr0nk without having to worry about having a headache in the morning.

'cept the bar wasn't really officially open.

Zaph still tried to kill himself via dr0nken 0blivion's again. Woo, I have a two headed perpetually drunk alian living in my head!

Also: I think that This Comic perfectly sums up how I felt once Eric and Jarne began talking music. Woosh! Right over my head!!

The other best thing about online is the fact that, if you're tierd and hyper and feel like it, you can curl up in three different people's laps...at the same time!

Actually, that shouldn't be a three. That should be an INFINITY! You can curl up in an INFINATE amount of laps!!

Clearly Sor hasn't actually woken up yet...

Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your friend-list's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues!

First the obvious:
Violet (from ASoUE)
Vendette (Making Fiends)
Zaphod
Riff
Jack Sparrow

Then the less-so:
Davan
Bernard Black
Patsy (from MPatHG/Spamalot)
The Ravanous Bug-blatter Beast of Traal
Noah (Boy Meets Boy)
Ben (Marly's Ghost)
The Badger
Pac-Man
Black (From Spy vs Spy! L00na'd do it best)
Ford (From either of my Fords...or both!)
The King of All Cosmo's

I think thats quite enough charecters.

Triple quadruple quintuple bonus points to anyone who can take any of *my* charecters and write me a letter from one of them.
