sorcyressToday involved well over 17,000 steps, not coincidentally, it also involved rediscovering Pokemon Go.
(I saw from my notifications that it was a community day, and so I started playing between service ringings, and then I played on the way home and then I played for a bonus hour after the s00j concert, and *then* I played for a bonus bonus hour when Ezri asked me to go run an errand for them).
I don't know if I'll keep playing en masse like this tomorrow (once I'm back to the usual concerns of grading and lesson plans) but it was a fun diversion for a day, especially while things were not quite too cold.
Other good parts of today:
s00j had a concert! It was water themed, although she did not play my absolute favourite water song, nor any of the Wendy trilogy (this is all fine, and mostly just an observation on how much music she has.) I got to sing along with the Glashtyn Shanty, and enjoy some unreleased/unrecorded new tunes! I was hoping to do some laundry folding during the concert, but actually just did it sat in my chair and playing silly phone games, and that was a *marvelous* way to relax my brain.
We rang a quarter peal at Old North, and now I've successfully scored Cambridge minor in tower! (I had it previously online, but that feels like a _very_ different accomplishment). I felt like I gave a pretty damn good accounting for myself --there were only a couple of leads where I was off mentally, and while my striking can always get better, I didn't feel it was _that_ bad.
Also I did eventually put away the laundry --I did it while watching an episode of Letterkenny. This means that my room is nearly entirely cleaned! I just have to deal with my desk and change my sheets, and then I will have successfully tricked Tuesday and also my parents into thinking I am a neat and organized person!
(Tuesday is coming over on Tues night, and then my parents are stopping by on Wednesday and we're all driving to Vermont together for thanksgiving --she's getting shipped the extra bit to visit her folks, we're stopping to visit da's brother. It will be a fun adventure!)
Oh yeah, I should also sweep if I want to convince people of my housecleaning virtue. So many steps!
