weekendness...
Dec. 20th, 2004 07:28 amWinter Concert: Anyway, bunches of people were there, which I already mentioned, and it was in general, fun. We techies dropped balloons on teh people for the last song (go us) and I got to buy some swedish fish. YAY SWEDISH FISH!!
I also got my first taste of starbucks, some strawberrys and cream thing (I don't think there was any coffee involved) and I'm ashamed to say that it sortof tasted good. Kindof like strawberry cremesavers.
But everyone knows the orange ones are infinently better (and the white spys way better then the black spy)
Friday: School, then Koobsitting. I really crashed there, which is bad. Methinks I need to either take a nap before doing that whole sitting thing or downing large amounts of caffinne. Preferably both.
Saterday: Started with carolling with the girl scouts (yay girl scouts!!) and quickly moved on to a large shopping expidition.
I. Hate. SHOPPING!!
Or rather, I hate nDGGD shopping where I'm looking for stuff for other people. I'm really bad at this. REALLY bad at this. In the period of time between 1 and 5, I managed to get a prezzie for Tyler, and a prezzie for my draw in the stagecraft secret santa thing. That included going once around the Arundel Mills mall, where granted, I don't know where any of the stores are, but still. Yeah. I suck at buying gifts.
Saterday ended with a cappies play, we saw A Christmas Carol at Randallstown high school, and it made me sad. Very sad. Why? They have this HUGE suditorium, a REAL pit, fly space, a BIG stage, the works.
Their play was not exceptional. For that size theatre, it should have ROCKED. But it didn't, and that made me sad.
Sunday: GEORGESTOWN!!! Woo!! This was the first time i'd ever been on a real Georgestown trip before, and I gotta tell you, it was really swell.
It was a lot of fun, one of the stores we went to was a comics and stuff store, and THEY HAD UGLYDOLLS!!! HOLY CRAP, THEY HAD UGLYDOLLS!! All 9 of them. It took a lot of self control to not buy EVERYTHING.
Sorry, I'm ok now. I like uglydolls. They make me very, very happy.
We ran around a bunch, stuff to remember:
*Theres a random oriental/pseudo-sanrio store that sold origami paper for pretty cheap. It was small pieces, but it looked cool, and they had sets for making those nifty little stars that I really like. Yay!
*Theres a bead store in the Georgetown mall. a BEAD store. *loves* I like beads. They fasinate me, and you can use them to make some pretty hot stuff.
*Theres a good bagal store out there
*Urban outfitters has some interesting stuff.
*Speaker hasn't seen episode 14 (it's out!!) OR 13 of Making Fiends. SHAME!! (www.makingfiends.com)
*Speaker has a Vendetta t-shirt. Luckey.
I'm running out of things to say.

on 2004-12-20 10:43 am (UTC)however, i do rather like several of the other starbucks beverages.
For example: Mocha Frappucinos with a Vanilla shot??? * summer sigh*
Caramel Macchiatos? *cold weather sigh*
but that's really about it. And the Java Chip Frappucinos on occasion, but it really bothers me when the brownie gets caught in the straw.
