It was the last weekend before Josh's school resumes and we (hopefully) will have him out of the house at least until ValueObfuscations (http://wiki.hypertwins.org/ValueOptions) decides whether we live or die. He was bored and inclined to invade the office -- but calm and not hard to manage, which was nice.

I also spent way too much time investigating new wiki software, as part of a mission to "properly" secure much of the information I've posted about Josh, which is currently public. I could write a whole LJ post on that, so I'll stop there for now (maybe a post will happen this week, if things aren't too crazy).

I went to NYC and saw a friend I haven't seen since high school, which was awesome.

Another close friend of mine tried to kill himself. That was substantially less awesome. (He survived without permanent damage, which is good. I'm still worried, but cautiously optimistic that he'll get the help he needs.)

I had my birthday celebrations! Saturday I went and saw Tripod at the Melbourne Comedy Festival with a bunch of friends and family (16 people came! More tickets than I'll ever see again!), and I had dinner with a smaller group beforehand, and I had delicious cocktails afterwards. Then my not_in_denial took me shopping, and I got a Deep Fryer, a new pair of Jeans and a Glitter lamp!

So yeah, my weekend's been kinda awesome! :)
