Conversations I have with my little sister:

Aly: *holds out a drawing* What do you think so far?
Me: *Being silly* OH MY GOD IT'S A BOY!
Aly: ...thank God!

(She was worried he was too femme. I was worried for a moment that it was an androgynous girl and I had totally insulted my sisters art style. Not too worried, mind, as that would involve caring about my siblings, which goes strictly against my older sister contract.)

Aly: *while quizzing me about my relationships* Do you have sex?
Me: *deadpan* Yes. All the time.
Aly: I've been having sex every day!
Aly: With Dan!
Aly: And Nik!
Me: *gives her the most weirded out look, ever*

(Nik is, after all, my little brother. She was TOTALLY joking, but still, wtf, mates. She then revised that to say she'd only been having sex every other day, with a couple of girl friends of ours. I gave her another weird look, told her she was never allowed to have sex, ever, and threatened every future partner of hers, ever, with a knife. You know, the usual.)

In other news, I really like hanging with my siblings, in small doses. The three of us on RockBand? Bitchin. Just screwing around in the kitchen or computerroom or something? Usually good. Me and either one of them, solong as it's just two of us? Totally awesome. The two of them arguing? Fail.

Also, I have a twitter account. Suprising no one, it's 'Sorcyress'. If you want to get little messages from me that are similar in style to my statusmessages, you should stalk me, or whatever their term for 'friend' is.

...I am suddenly weirded out that I regularly verb 'friend'. Fucking internet. Distortifying my language.

When my initial partner for Teller's production of Macbeth at the Folger bailed, I was almost tempted to call you up and ask you if you thought me offering Aly the ticket would completely freak her out, since my barometer for predicting whether what I do will freak people out has been totally broken for years. But then I would've found out you too were also headed back that weekend, and it would've gotten all sorts of confusing. In the end, I just got a last-minute extra ticket and dragged someone with me.
