Our house wasn't a part of the district of the school I wanted to go to, and the school I was supposed to go to was ages and ages away because the school board is full of insane people.

hyperfocus means realizing you don't remember a thing but not being able to step out of the pit of empty memory to realize the information you need is printed on all the letters and mailing labels the letter carrier leaves in the household mailbox most days. never you mind the numbers attached to the house where they are visible from the road. :-P
