Arlillia's chronicals, part one.
Dec. 23rd, 2004 09:10 pmShe grinned and giggled, winding her way through the endless stream of people wishing to brush against her, smile at her, shake her hand. She was beautiful adn the world loved her. They loved her flowing dresses and her upswept hair, her wide eyes and gracious smile. How could they not love such a gem as this one, especially one who was the crown princess of Arliia. Noblemen whispered her name to one another behind closed doors, foreign princes tried to convine their fathers to let them marry her, she was beauty adn thats all everyone saw when they looked at her.
She kept slinking, until she eventually arrived at the outswept doors that led to the patios and the gardens beyond. It was a beautiful garden, with a great maze that led into a series of great catacombs beneath the castle and it's outsprawling city. Not too many people knew that though, most found the hedge maze a good place for a trysting couple or a servent trying to escape their duties. Everyone noticed the princess slide into the maze, it was without doubt that she would be followed by many of the more shameless suitors. No one noticed one more thin servent slip out of the maze a little while later, they were all looking for the elegant princess, certain that she wished only to flirt with a man of her choosing.
Pausing at the gates to the castle, the princess slid a wisp of her deep golden hair behind her ear, keeping it hidden under her hood. She had managed to escape in peace, she KNEW this outfit had been a good thing to aquire.
More will follow later.
