Aug. 28th, 2020 11:06 amYesterday I moved many heavy and bulky things because ~moving~. I am sore and stiff1 but not in any way that won't be fixed by moving around more, with the exception of my hands, which are about as bad as they've ever been. So I'm typing, since that will definitely help :p
(In general, my hands are arthriticish in some mornings based on some unknown criteria that certainly include overuse but also maybe humidity or weather changes or something. It goes away with stretching and heat and gentle use and squish (especially when I can sucker other people into doing massagey squish stuff, because it's rare that only one hand hurts and it feels counterproductive to use grip to make grip better.)
Today is my birthday! You should send me selfies of you or other pictures of yourself that you like and feel happy about, and also you should eat ice cream (or other frozen treats) in my honor! You can even combine these things (Laura won "first to send me ice cream picture" by doing it a few days ago, and Josh has currently sent at least two different instances, so I am feeling very ice-cream-happy-by-proxy.
Due to exciting packing franticness and then long move period yesterday, I had a pretty fun mental brain use day which is to say I actually zeroed out my brain. After a nice bit of a cry and a consumption of miso soup and a bottle of gatorade and some other random calories, I came back and perked right up which was good because I could then make a bed and go to bed.
Anyways, I'm still not 100% (which is why this entry is probably even more meandery than usual) and won't be until I'm settled at the hotel and then school starts yayyy!
Wish me a happy birthday, damnit, and send other good things!

1: It is a testament to MadRobin's thermarest pad, which I am borrowing since my bed is gone, that I am merely this, because last night I was tired enough that I could've fallen asleep into a gravel pit but then I would've woken up *much* more sore.

I never tried it, and I don't know that it would help in your case.
