sorcyressSo, tomorrow morning (early!1) I leave for Pinewoods. I will be off in the woods for four days, having lots of dancing and polydrama2. It's totes exciting or something.
Give me a break, I only got about six hours of sleep and it's currently a single-digit time. Enthusiasm is hard to muster.
Anyways, I'm not going to bring Vera to the middle of the woods, because there's no point --there's no (or very little) internet there, and I can write in notebooks. So I'm gonna be totally gone for about four days, which livejournal won't even notice, but might create a gap in the rest of my internet use. Not that anyone from other social media ever bothers to check elljay4 anymore, I'm looking at you, Tumblrites. It's okay. The six of you who still hang out in the long-form blogging platform just get the advantage of always being the first to hear my babble.
Also, because today is busyday (omgdearlord), I'm not going to be online much today, either. So, uh, yeah. Internet silence essentially starts now! I love you all, be good, yadda yadda.
TODO, before Pinewoods:
*Go to Crafthearth, do yardwork
*Go to dinnerdate5, do dinner and games and social yay
*Pack for Pinewoods, ohgod, ohgod
***No seriously, ohgodohgod. We at least know where the packing list online is, right?
***Don't forget a sketchbook, a list of addresses for postcardy goodness, Lazarus, possibly Fat Steggy6, possibly the good senator, towel, swimsuit, sunscreen, sheets, light, sanity, pills
*Laundry (in relation to above, yeah, I ORGANIZED GOOD!)
*Check weather (in relation to above)
*Close all my tabs so I have a nice clean Vera to come home to
*Find phone number for CLER in case I am running late on Monday
*Put Elanor in the basement so she does not get rained on or whatever
*Find list of addresses to send postcards to (see below)
OH BY THE WAY, VERY IMPORTANT! Pinewoods sells postcards and stamps, and that's within my ability to buy things. So if you want a postcard, I will spend an afternoon or so writing out as many as possible and sending them. All I need is YOUR ADDRESS! And for you to let me know you want a postcard --I will be checking this post on Friday morning at like eight AM, so if your comment is after that, I promise NOTHINK!
...Please don't assume I have it unless you can find it in this post, or you know you've e-mailed it to me in a message that includes your name and the word address, so I have a reasonable chance of searching it out.
...and I get home from yardwork adventures, and find that I did not actually hit post. WELL DONE MX KYRESS! SLOW CLAPS!7

1: Due to Getting Things Done, my schedule has shifted to be much earlier than usual --instead of running 11/noon to 3/4 AM, I'm back to an 8/9 to midnight/1 schedule. It's nice, but man am I short on hanging with my online friends.
2: Okay, probably not really, but there's a reason that I used to be so vehement against the event, and that has largely to do with the idea of being a seventh wheel. Always a secondary, never a bride, sigh!3
3: These complaints are facetious, bytheway. I am being silly. My current polyweb is awesome and works far better than it has any right to, and I really am happy in it.
4: Apparently I use elljay as a universal, like kleenex or band-aid.
5: "Date" is probably a little misleading, to the best of my knowledge, it's just platonic and I wasn't totally pimped out by my friend's wife to give him nookie or whatever.
6: Fat Steggy is my birthday present from Sparr. From last year. That I only received about a week ago. I really ought to do a post just talking about various stuffed animals that I own sometime.
7: Or, if you're mek or Magus, hey, hey, hey, hey Sor? Fail! o_ob

Haffun in the woods at Pinewoods! We played in the woods today ourself and gotten eaten up by mosquitos and i watched wrens being wrens from the hammock and it was tonnes of fun! ^_^ </f!Harena>

I was asleep when you left, but the yard looks soooooooooooooo much saner, and I will now not be ashamed when my Mom comes and uses the second floor tub, because it won't be stained with caulk and water stains from when I overwatered the Porthos in the tub. (And the stove is beyond belief. I honestly wasn't sure anyone could GET the grime off the top of the stove burners.)
