So, 421 days ago (ish) I was dragged off by the absolutely wonderful shadowcaptain and disc_sophist to go see the Satanic Mechanics do an awesome showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Since then, I have seen RHPS by the Satanic Mecahnic's five more times, Little Shop of Horrors and The Addams Family as done by the Satanic Mechanics, RHPS twice with assorted cool people (Well, once with V and once with V and Kat. Certainly cool) and Shock Treatment once.

Yes, I am a Rocky Whore. But it's all cool.

ANYWAYS! I bring up all this history, because tonight was the last night that I got to see the show, as done by the Mechanics, at least on any regular basis. And while I am fully aware that Boston Has Rocky Horror casts the mechanics are really really good.

Soooo yeah. I had a point, but that was before the bawls ran out. Uhm, it was fun?

of course being a Rocky Whore is cool! i, unfortunately, have only seen the movie version & only 3.5 times in the theatre & once on my DVD which i had to get... a tshirt came with it! and Shock Treatment (which i haven't seen yet :P) the sequel!

ok here is the plan. i have never fully seen rocky horror. this makes me still techniclly a virgin. SO when youa re in school in boston. we MUST go to the boston cast to see it. you can dress me up as you wish to and have free range to put the giant V on my forhead.

RHPS - Harvard Square - every Saturday at midnight...definitely a great time. Just plan to not have public transport home, which sucks, but so worth it.

To me half the fun of RHPS was new regional lines when we had out-of-town guests, or when I migrated from my home cast to here. In fact, as good as Mechanics are, by my standards it's pretty pathetic that theirs shows are so infrequent. (it could be quantity vs. quality thing, but hon, being someplace that has enough shows to join a cast and run through bunches of the parts is fun of its very own.)

I am saddened by the lack of shows, but they make up for it by being free --I am very broke these days, to the point where the ten dollar fee that FullBodyCast has makes me cringe.
