Close. It's actually to meet up with you, whereas we would promptly go to a Weird Al concert together, and indeed, get to meet the guy. Following this, we'd fly across the ocean to hang out with that Arty Boy, and take advantage of his awesome knowledge to find Douglas Adams's grave. Once there, we would use your mad Sorceress skillz to resurrect him, and to trap the forces of life in his previous grave. Then we'd get him to write the sixth book, steal it, flag down a passing spaceship drawn to us by the sudden lack of 'life' in the ultimate question of Life, The Universe and Everything (now simply the ultimate question of the universe and everything, which doesn't sound nearly as important). We'd catch a ride and fly off to one of the Betelgeuse planets and live a happy life of parties and happiness. Of course, after arriving there, we'd have to get a spaceship of our own, preferably with either a faster-than-light-speed-engine, or an improbability drive so we could drive back and forth from betelgeuse to Earth to visit old friends and family, and, of course, pick Blue up and bring her back with us.

"Can roze_hart raise the dead to perform common household tasks?"
"I wouldn't be surprised, what with him being JUST THAT COOL!"

Actually, the dead and I have an unwritten agreement: If I don't disturb them with common household tasks, they won't insist that I join their ranks anytime soon. However, my very old pal, Dorian Gray, loves to swish around the house in his frilly, pink apron and feather duster. You can almost picture it (see my attic for details).

Wishing you an early, belated "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" (I'm usually late with these things).

Well, I suppose that works then. And you better not go and join them anytime soon! I need to work for you before I get too old to work for camp!

And thanks for the early belated birthday! Same to you!!
