Hey, this is my 900th entry. Go me.
'course, that clone of mine has long since doubled me. Damn her and her online prolificness. *shakesfist*
Anyways, I'm sitting around drinking bad coffee and thinking about giving you lot an update, but really, all I did on Saturday was hang out online.
Sunday, I went out and played frisbee with this random guy I met at breakfast. Which was totally fun, and I may have to join the Lesley Ultimate Frisbee group.
After that I slacked online for a while, then I had an "OH SHIT!" moment and ran down to the theatre to the play-rehersal. It's a suprisingly entertaining script --I may have to rethink the "Liv = Blasko" connection in my mind, especially as Liv appreciates things like Sweeny Todd. I'll work on the Assassins thing...
SPEAKING OF SWEENY TODD
So, as a stress-release sort of thing, the whole cast and crew of Wild Blue (which includes me. Yes, I'm a prop tart, again.) is going to go see Sweeny Todd. Yes, seperate from when the school sees it. Which means that, if I go ahead and pay another $26, I can see Sweeny Todd twice this run.
I'm way considering it. Yes, this is what I'm spending my graduation monies on. Theatre tickets and sonicvibratorsscrewdrivers. Sigh. Better'en booze, right?
I need, as they say, a job. Wonder if any bookstores in the area are hiring... >>
Fuck, it's tempting. Does not help that I still have 75$ I haven't deposited into my bank yet. Hell, that would pay for the last few rounds of my theatre addiction, right?
Fuck man, I need a budget. >.< Stupid living in the real world with spending real money (as opposed to parental money) Also, FSM bless meal plans. RAmen.
Oh hell, I was talking about my day, wasn't I? Hum, I think I got permission from TheNewType to use his "Going off on a tangent" icon, yeah? I should find that and reload it.
Anywho. Wild Blue (the musical) is small cast --nine girls, two boys, and I already know half of them, which is pretty darn cool. The lead is actually the wonderful Lindsey who I met at Wicked, so that's exceedingly awesome. Yay, singing!
After rehersal, I wandered over to the twins house to see if they were around. They were hanging out with Madeline and a friend of theirs, Stephanie, and when I came in, gave me gummy bears and animal crackers. And admired the awesomeness of my awesome outfit, which was, pretty much, awesome.
And I've determined that, while I need a real top hat with the silk and the tall and the nice, I also need a crap cheap felt one that I can wear around everywhere. Because I borrowed Laurens for the 80's dance, and wore it every day in the weekend. Hell, I'd be wearing it now except for the fact that it's COLD out, and so I'm wearing my Jayne hat. So now I need two top hats. And the purple velvet one from Garment District. I = poor.
Hokay, it is about time for me to get going now. Yay, time to go run around and enjoy life! 'cept, I have an appointment for 11:30 or twelve or something with my adviser, and there's a production meeting today and aieeeee!
Catch you kittens* later!
