sorcyress: Drawing of me as a pirate, standing in front of the Boston Citgo sign (Homework)

The level at which I'm ignoring my work is almost astounding!

I mean, granted, I've already got everything essentially. I just need to finish with all the text, and that can copypaste it's way in in a manner of minutes. And I really did accidentally forget my camel (USB key --I have a whopping 64 megs on mine. Not gigs. Megs.*) at home, so the work we do have is back there.

Stupid powerpoint presentations.

Yeah, that didn't make sense. Basically: I am in Psychology class right now, not working on the powerpoint project about Maslows Hierarchy of Needs that I'm supposed to be doing with Billy right now. In my defense, Billy is working on a powerpoint project for some other class, so it's not even like my partners working and I'm slacking. It's just a slacky day. And I can do a lot of it for homework.

The hierarchy of needs is cool stuff though. You all ought to go look it up some time. Or remind me if you're desperate and I'll post an explanation sometime. You know, around the same day I post the last of the egoboosts (I *heart* you Kat!) and do all my Holidaytype shopping.

...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. We'll see.

Holidaytype does, of course, refer to the Pastafarian holiday of Holiday. It's a good deal. I like being a Pastafarian. All hail the Flying Spaghetti Monster, RAmen.

And my family is rediculously religiously diverse. We've got two easter bunny and santa claus christians, the high priestess of the first church of Greykell, a pagan, and a pastafarian. Yayforus.

Uhhhhhhhh...otherstuff. Saw Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday. Did not see Amanda even a little bit, which makes me SAD! Did see Bethany though, she drove Jeremy and Veronica to the show. So that was good fun. Jeremy was totally boggled by the expirience. Veronica fit RIGHT in. *grin* And you're not a whore, I swear, don'thurtme. >.> <.<

Spent the weekend playing Guitar Hero and cleaning my room. Go. Me. I still have a ton and a half of laundry to put away arg. But hey, on the Geetar Hero front, I have ONE SONG LEFT to get five stars on and then I have beaten the game on Medium. Arrrrrrrgsoclose. :p

...You know what I just realized? I completely forgot to do any work on the secret schemes like I was supposed to. Carpnuts.

Ottttttttttttther stuff. I have run out of things to post about, which means I'm now babbling. Oh! We are reading The Stranger in English class and learning about Existentialism and Absurdism. I think that I may have to declare myself an optimistic Absurdist --it fits perfectly with my own personal favorite saying on life: "Life's a bitch and then you die. So make the best of it while you still can!"

Yeah, I'm weird. It's all good though. The Stranger is reeeeeeeally boring though. I get *why* he writes without passion, he's showing how whatshisface is such an existentialist, but it still brings to mind images of The Catcher in the Rye. I *hated* that book. Hate hate hate hate HATE.

Nothing exceptionally interesting happened today. Oh! I learned what our Spring Musical is going to be! The coup is complete, we quite thourgholy have a new drama teacher, and she has most certainly made the drama department her own. That's right, we're doing Miss Barry's least favorite musical ever: Grease.

I will get back to you on whether or not that's a good thing. Really, I've just kindof been floating by in Stagecraft. Which is sad. *insert more text here that I'll actually get around to writing eventually.*

Anywho, gotta go play Pavlow's dog! See you Kats, kittens, orcs, kids, stgs, dragons, drakes, etc, etc later!!

MOOP!

*No unbearably cute meggies though. *sad*

Hearting me does not make me forget about the egoboosts, young lady.

As for the hierarchy of needs, though, I played a game for a while which revolved around that. So I don't really need to look it up.

You didn't see Amanda on Saturday because she was marching at a football game -- and being laughed at by me and Jake.

I can't play guitar hero. I would suck wholeheartedly, I am sure.
But I got an idea last night that made me giggle -- Accordion Hero!

Haven't read The Stranger, but I kind of liked Catcher. Only kind of, though. I suppose that after Curtains, I can't really hate any other book.

1) What about the starving artist, huh Maslow? Not so smug now are we?

2) I wasn't at Rocky because I was busy hosting a massive party which seemed like a good idea at the time.

3) Have you ever read Young Adult Novel by Daniel Pinkwater? That's my favoritest absurd thing ever.

Catcher in the Rye is one of my all-time favorite books. It's beautiful, funny, and sad. It's perfectly written and it affects me deeply every time.
