Wednesday (?) Medialog!

*I finished Lady Knight --Squire is my favourite of Kel's books, but Lady Knight has one of my favourite scenes from all of Tortall (the montage of different characters reacting to Kel riding off to rescue her village)
*I've stalled out on Time War, but decided to start Middlegame (by Seanan McGuire). Y'all, it's about _hiveminds_?! That's like my favourite damn trope ever, how did I not know this??? I'm currently a little stalled because the delightfully loopy and non-linear nature means I think I need to get a piece of paper and start taking notes.
*I did read some MarkReads posts after my last medialog, mostly about Kel books. Also for the first three books worth of Sandman, which I found on the internet and re-read along with!
*We had a pretty big AmongUs group last Thursday, and I got to play the Polus map for the first time! It's a _really_ pretty map, with the snow and the lava.
*Ezri and I are continuing to watch Parks and Rec --we're into season five. We're starting to get into the parts that wore me out before (I've never actually finished P&R) like the just exhausting Councilman Jamm. Still some really good plot bits too though!
*mek and I had a Valentines date, which we spent watching Big Fat Quiz Show episodes, in an attempt to branch out in the British Panel Show genre. It was pretty damn fun! I did okay at guessing the answers, and excellent at swooning over comedians.
*Tailsteak and I are watching Taskmaster --I recommended it and so we've started with series 5, as an official "we've hit our stride" series. I really _really_ do think it's my favourite, in no small part because Nish Kumar is a complete and utter delight of a man and I adore his work on Taskmaster, no matter how shite it is.
(But seriously, I love all five of the series five contestants. Aisling Bea is maybe the person I most want to win every task, Mark Watson is dead adorable, Bob Mortimor is maybe my favourite "actually competent" TM contestent, and Sally Phillips is just so wonderfully classy while being deeply crass and ridiculous. Love this season!)
((yes, I should write a big thing about Taskmaster sometime)).
*I also played some videogames with Austin last weekend. He showed me Hollow Knight, which is soft and strange and beautiful, and I sucked very badly at Rhythm Heaven Fever and slightly less badly at Overcooked. I really enjoy everything about Overcooked and should maybe get a copy for Ezri's switch, but only if it is playable via the internet (since it's explicitly not a solo player game).
*Also I've been reading a nice little handful of very short porns and would definitely read more if they were to come my way, hint hint!
