sorcyressAccomplishments from today:
*I actually did work stuff for all the work hours. It wasn't always the most productive work stuff (did I *need* to clean up my desktop and google drive folders? I mean yes but also no) but it was all focused work stuff, and I'm pleased with myself for keeping that up.
*Also went to the union meeting wooo there's another one tomorrow WOOO ratifying our Memorandum of Agreement all ~fancy~ like!
(I realized at some point a couple years ago that none of my immediate family, nor any of my partners spare one1, are union members. Mostly that just makes me sad, about what jobs wind up with unions and what jobs do not. Anyways, this past year I've been more aware of and engaged in union stuff, and I am so happy about its existence and so pleased with the work we do. Worker rights hell yes!)
*I did the laundry! Ezri went down with me to put everything in washers (partly to check out the space), but I moved it along to the dryers and fetched it by myself.
*For dinner we ordered a pizza and onion rings from Wegmans, which is like...a block and a half from the hotel basically. So Ezri and I wandered over there and picked them up and also bought four pints of ice cream and some cucumbers and tomato sauce and shaky cheese and bagels. This is going to be Way Too Convenient for everything except our wallets.
*Before and after dinner, I worked on *actually* unpacking and cleaning up my areas of the hotel, which I hadn't actually done yet. I am fully unpacked! I will take a picture of my shelves and stuff sometime I suppose. I own one wall of this hotel, which includes a dresser which refuses to keep its drawers closed once there are things in them. I have theorized that the ghosts just really want to see my underwear. Pervs.
*I wrote a long comment about dance, which is always a thing that makes me happy, to a new friend I am making which is *always* a thing that makes me happy! That was most of my words tonight, and I'm pleased for that, since I'm three nights running where I forget to save my work notes as my words, and then can't be arsed to turn back on _that_ computer.
Now I think I'm gonna eat a splash of ice cream and maybe read a book a bit before bed. I should do more DW catchup, but meh, tomorrow. Yinz'll let me know if there's anything I immediately need to be aware of?

1: I'm not actually positive about this, but I'm pretty sure Brenton was a union stagehand/theatre worker. Most of my partners were or are some sort of computer associated, and there are precious few unions for tech right now.
