Random quick updates:

*The backs of my hands itch like crazy. I am putting lotion on them eighty times an hour and trying _so hard_ not to scratch them, because if I scratch them open, I will be at more risk for everything than if I can leave my skin unbroken. Bah. It's not like this was a surprising side effect of being really thorough with handwashing, but it is annoying.

*Am working on emails. Down to 3291 unread, which means I've read everything since about January 27th or so. Whee!

*Today feels very very limboy, more so than the last couple days. It's the weekend! I don't have to do anything! Except every day is the weekend now, so why not try and get things done? Probably a non-zero amount of "I should go eat something".

*Might do board game playing with the boyf. On the one hand, this is bad social distancing. On the other hand, if either of Austin or I has Covid-19, presumably the other does as well.

Blugh, that's all for now. Eating lunch! Yay! Byeeee!

Regarding hand washing, are you using hot water? Warm water works fine for handwashing but overly hot water can dry out/damage skin really fast.

I keep having thoughts on your posts and then not posting them like a doofus, idek. Maybe will get back to that soon.

Lotion! I also have been having this problem, to the point where I had a red scaly miserable patch on the back of one of my hands (I have dry itchy winter hands in the best of years, and have a Very Expensive lotion that works that I refuse to go through at triple my usual rate, so it was not unexpected that my hands would be Very Upset at this). What has worked for me in the last few days is to just say fuck it and put foot cream on my hands, because hell, why not, it's intended for really serious dry skin, and nothing else was even putting a dent in the dryness. I'm currently using Burt's Bees foot cream, which smells like feet and sheep, just at night because I can't stand the smell or the texture the rest of the time, but I wake up with blissfully soft hands and I cannot even. Alternating between the...four? other lotion-y oil-y hand moisturizey things that I've been using during the day is helping, as is being home where I'm washing my hands slightly less than when I'm out in the world.

You are one of the people who I would love to just hang with online, on hangouts or discord or whatever through this, so maybe I will poke you in the next couple of days about that. ♥
