(This feels extra funny to me hot on the heels of a post where I talk explicitly about how important positive self-talk is. THANKS FOR POINTING THAT OUT, BRAIN.)
Anywho, here we go:
Work:
*None, it's a weekend.
*Although SCD-coworker did get a picture of the two of us at the ball and sent it round the department email and a couple people left nice comments. That's sweet!
Social:
*Went to the brunch! Yay brunch!
*Spent most of my brunch-time hanging out with E, the 10 year old daughter of one of my dancefriends. That was, of course, awesome since the pre-teens of Scottish Dancing prove to be ridiculously talented and cool people, and E is no exception.
*Studiously Did Not Have A Talk with a friend with whom I maybe sometime need to have A Talk. Granted, this was because friend drew a good boundary of "hey, I know you suggested we could talk today but I'm really not feeling up to it right now" and I respected that boundary. Good boundaries > good talks!
*Chatted on the fellytone with Dragon, getting to meet some of his new family. That was wonderful!
*Also chatted on the fellytone with Mama and Alys, to wish the former a happy mother's day! Yay for good moms! Share mine if you need one!
Sex:
*Made two sex-filter posts, one of which is a great and kinky piece of writing, the other of which is a fanfic recommendation.
*Being as this is not sexfilter-posted, I am never going to say anything else accomplishment-wise in this category. Tell me if you're into it and wanna be on (or off) that particular filter.
Personal:
*Ugh.
*Day 156 of writing my words. Yeah!
*Seriously though, ugh.
*I mean, I did read over a quarter-million words of fic. I AM VERY FAST AT READING, OKAY?! (Also it was the better part of seven straight hours.)
GOODNIGHT TIME TO GO TO WORK AND STUDY FOR FINALS WHEEEEEE!
