Questionable Content is the wins. Forever, and ever, and ever, and ever. I'm serious, I don't care if you have no interest in this comic at all, or even just in comics in general. Just go read todays. It's amazing.
I'm about mostly done catching up with all my comics. >.<() No, I don't read too many comics. NOT AT ALL! That reminds me -sometime I need to write/post the list of Webcomics Kat Reads. This would be easier if it didn't keep getting longer...
Honestly, GPF has lost my interest almost entierly. This doesn't bother me that much -it's never been my favorite, although I did adore Todd way back in Surriptious Machinations. The real problem is that Dominic Deegan has begun slipping -all the demons and orcs and strange bit charecters are almost impossible to keep track of. Which...really bothers me. I like Dominic Deegan a LOT, and I *love* Mookie. Different webcartoonists have different ways of talking to their fans, Mookie's one of the ones who I just really really like. I agree with him -enough crying in the rain, let's please get back to the gag-a-day seerish puns, please.
Gyuh, I've been reading websnark, does it show? Stupid Eric -making me go all philisophical about my comics.
Your comics?
Shh. Entitlement rights! I'm allowed, I swear.
No you're not
Fine, the comics which I happen to read and enjoy. Better?
Much.

Comics interest me. Obsession of the moment fluctuates and changes, although there are some that I will always adore and read, just because I love them so. Sluggy Freelance is one of them -I will read Sluggy as long as Pete writes it, regardless of how shitty it becomes. Something Positive is another one, yes, it's a horrible cynical bitter comic, but in a way, it's the most realistic out of everything I read. It's life, and life is horrible.
Then there are the newcomers. Order of the Stick fer instance is one of the most consistently funny comics I read. Rich knows exactly what he's doing, and the art serves to really help the comic. (Have I ever mentioned that I love comics that update in colour. Love!) It's silly, and fits. Another one of these comics that I've only recently stumbled upon is UglyGirl If you have EVER been even remotely outcast in high school, you need to go read this comic. It has a beautiful melencholy to it, and again, simplistic art that serves its purpose.
I think I've run out of things to say for the moment. I'll talk to you lot later.

on 2006-07-18 08:28 pm (UTC)What's wrong with that?
"Something Positive is . . . a horrible cynical bitter comic"
Horrible in the sense of evoking a sense of horror, perhaps due to its cynicism, or horrible as in not well made? Because it may be the first, but it's definitely not the second. And what's wrong with that? ;)
"If you have EVER been even remotely outcast in high school"
You know somebody who hasn't?

on 2006-07-19 11:13 pm (UTC)The first one, I would think. Perhaps that that should be horribly.
...No, no I don't think I do.

I wasn't. Not in the sense you're talking about, anyway.
