Having an Erik day to-day. Not driven by the intense "I need to be a boy now" thing so much as just woke up with minimal clean clothing, and went "yeah, this is okay by me." It's nice to force it once in a while, I don't get as many chances to interact with the world as Kat does.
It's probably more subtle to outsiders than normal, being as I'm missing most of my wardrobe and there's only so much I can get across. So I'm wearing the most binding bra I have (which is better than normal but not great) black jeans (I really likes jeans more than cargo pants. I think it's something to do with the way most of my identity involves looking like a boy, but part involves looking not like Kat-as-normal) and a white polo shirt. I feel like I'm in uniform for some catholic all-boys school.
The hair is down too, which is almost certainly the looking not like Kat thing. For some reason, long hair down has always coded to me more as "guy" than "girl". At any rate, I would not let her keep the pair of braids in another day, which is just as well as they were beginning to fray.
Also, I've learned that I likes purple in the same way Kat likes orange. I don't know if this is a temporary thing or more permanent. I don't really mind, but I think it's weird to have different favourite colours as different genders. Perhaps especially as neither of those colours is particularly "traditionally" one gender or the other.
In other news, my world is filled with boxes, I can't find my room clock which is honestly freaking me out on a very low level --I have a pretty urgent need to have a good time sense-- and life is basically exhausting. But my little brother has a birthday today, and that's pretty cool. Woot!
Also, I still haven't found my computer power cord. Dammit, I haven't even mentioned that, have I? I'm sorry guys, I'll try to do a comprehensive post on "here is everything going on!" at some point. You should probably just glance at my Twitter if you're really concerned. Ignore all the flirting.
