My life. Fun, isn't it?

EVERYTHING AND IT'S BROTHER IS HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND AND IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!!!!!
(((COT*: Do any other Grammer Nazi'z make sure that when they're shouting their apostrophes don't turn into quotation marks?)))
Anyway, this weekend, I am going to be a flower child for a wedding. YAY!! This is good, especially since I get to wear a really pretty dress and weddings are fun and I love weddings...Drinks all around!
Also this weekend, we have two big practices for the Cappies Gala on Monday (more on that later) Thats fine, they happen to fit right into the non wedding times, so I can go to both.
Also this weekend is Camporee. Dammit. And not because I haven't known about this, since I have, but because I absolutly love Camporee and it's always been tons of fun for me. Plus, our troop is now going to be two thirds it's normal size, since we're only three girls to begin with.
Oh, and for the unknowing, Camporee is a really big girl scouting event where our entire community goes camping and hangs out together. Very very fun, lots of running outside and playing.
If I recall correctly, I spent a significant amount of time last year wandering halfway across the camping grounds to go visit friends in another troop. With my legs tied together. *grin*
Anyway, I'm not doing Camporee, which is sad, but bearable.
Also, Anne's band is having a benifit concert for the AIDS stricken children in Africa which I probably can't go to since the weekend already looks way to hectic for words. Sorry babe. :-(
And to top it all off, Lily and Zoe want to have a sleepover with me and Veronica this weekend, which neither of us can go to because of Camporee and the wedding. *sigh*
So, my life is hectic. And to top it all off, THE SENIORS ARE LEAVING WAAAAAAAAAY TOO SOON!!! *sobs!*
With luck, life should straighten out in a few weeks. Oh wait, I forgot, school keeps going until the 17th, and then, starting the very next Monday, is GS day camp! And then, that Thursday, Origins!! (((COT: ORIGINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!))) And then, the Monday following that, session two of day camp! And then Wyo! And then school!!
I NEED LESS OF A LIFE!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for listining.
*COT = Completely Off Topic. Basically, off topic comments in a rant, which I am inclined to do.
Now, the Cappies Gala...*dreamy sigh*
The Cappies is a group of critics in high school who spend their time going to high school productions and writing articles about how much they liked them.
The Cappies Gala is the high school equivilent of the Tonys.
Our play, The Princess Bride, was nominated in thirteen catagories.
GO US!!!!!!!!! Anyway, the Gala is on Monday, I get to leave school early for it (WOO!) and hang out at the Myerhoff (spelling?) for a while. And then the gala starts, and everyone wears pretty clothes (like...prom type clothes) and it's happy, and they give out awards, and all the plays get to go onstage and do a section of their play...and I'm in ours!! I get to walk across the stage holding an axe!!
Depending on my state of mind, and which side of the spectrum my techtor* status is, this either terrifies or amazes me.
Yeah. It should be fun. And now I don't need to badger Kevin quite so much about getting me those pictures he took at prom. *evil grin*
So, thats my life. Love it, hate it, it's all I got.
