(no subject)

So, my internetgrandmother posted a meme. See, she was looking through her musicals, and seeing if she could come up with a favourite for every letter.

( And since she urged us to do it as well...well, Anything Goes will have to suck it. A is for Assassins. )

And, because I am hella too verbose for my own good, I've decided to see if I can narrow it down to just one track for each letter of the alphabet.

Or rather, I did decide, and then wound up with 25 tracks for A and B. We'll see over the next couple days if I can't get it down to, say, ten tracks to each letter or something. Sigh!

(no subject)

DEAR SMART COMPUTERY PEOPLE!

While I know that this is largely a JFGI situation, my google fu remains kinda terrible and I remain kinda lazy. ((Also, Lesley is a big fan of the no torrents, and getting my internet taken away would be about eight kinds of bad)) Plus, I figure with the number of musical and Joss Whedon geeks I know, there's at least a chance that someone already has what I'm looking for just lying around.

Conor¹ is hoping to put on a performance of Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog and Once More With Feeling this semester, what with the acting and the singing and stuff, and I'm doing assorted helpery things. We don't want to try and teach people how to play music, and we don't have the facilities to shadowcast, so what we're looking for is just the music (no vocals, thanks) of those two musicals. If you have them, or know of a reasonable way to strip the vocals, please can you send them/teach me?

Thank you muchly, and hopefully this project will actually wind up working out. (If it does, expect much babbling. If it doesn't, expect a sadKat)

X Years Ago Today

One year ago today.

One year ago today, it was 2008. And I posted a silly little Quote of the Day that managed to inspire my favourite thing I have ever done with this journal, ever.

See, I think at least part of the reason I started the X Years Ago Today project was so I could celebrate the one year anniversary of this contest I ran, by running it again.

That's right kids. It's time.

Write me a porn story, in thirty words or less. Make it good, sexy, erotic, funny, whatever. If you want, write more than one.
