Remember, remember the fifth of November
The gunpowder treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.

Guy Fawkes, twas his intent
To blow up king and parliament.
Three score barrels were laid below
To prove old England's overthrow.

By God's mercy he was catched
With a dark lantern and lighted match.
Holler boys, holler boys, let the bells ring
Holler boys, holler boys, God save the King.

Just got back from watching "V for Vendetta" with an assortment of wonderful college kids.

I now know far too thourgholy what the term "Intellectual Crush" means.

It was good.

MOOP!

(And I am working the line "A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having." into my novel if it kills me --11000 or so words down, 39000 or so to go!)

V: VoilĂ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Evey Hammond: Are you like a crazy person?

V: I am quite sure they will say so.

I am so memorizing that monologue, merely for the meticulous mirth that may manifest by mentioning it to most of my mates.

An incredibly idea, indeed. If anyone insists you shouldn't intake it, instantly inform them of innumberable trivia invoked in games. It helps insanely in such irrational areas.

Think of it like this - you start spelling "Thorog" then halfway through change to "rough".

Or simply, thorough = tho + rough.

NB: I have a lot of trouble with this too. I made that up to remind myself how to spell it.

It drives me MAD when people give me helpful things that I will never get out of my head. But they usually work, so it's all good.

(I just learned that SatUrday is SatUrns day, which helps, curse it!)

Thank you Tho. *sighs*

Oh man. I love that movie. Too bad the DVD costs like $30 everywhere I've ever seen it. It's not that good.

...I JUST walked in the door from doing precisely the same thing, in the dorm next door to mine...

This is beginning to get a little weird.

...Yeah. Yeah, it is.

...I can't even think of something witty or snarky to say here. I'm just somewhat thrown by that.

Though it is the perfect way to celebrate bonfire night if you're stuck on this side of the pond.
