Pheonix Meme!

Okay, since I've had these two responses sitting in my inbox for a hellslong time. And I'm now attempting to clean out my inbox. Aiee.
So, meme!
Letter meme:
This is how it works: Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.
"My first roll was X. Try it if you dare, otherwise, you get --
C!"
Boo, hiss! C is an evil letter! I shall do it anyhow, and follow up with some Excellent X.
C:
1) Colour My first and most prevalent britishism. I love spelling it this way.
And I love colours. Just look at me, and you can tell that. I especially love my technicolour nightmarecoat.
2) Centrefold A very recent britishism. I'm bad at remembering how to spell centre. It's all good. At any rate, this is a most excellent song that I absolutely adore.
3) Circus! Who *doesn't* want to run away and join the circus at some point in their life or another. Come on now. Circuses are great. Everyone should go to many of them, and especially admire the superawesome acrobats.
Perhaps that one should read "Cirque" as in the "du Solei" kind. Now *that's* an expirience. *drools*
4) Cock "Oh my god doctor, look at that FAT COCK!"
Cock: "Buck-buc-buc-buc-buck. Buck-buck."
"Sorry Doctor. That was fucked up."
There's a reason that isn't related to Doctor Tran for this one. For a good deal of time, I have been an anti-C sort of person. Very vehemently so. So, the logical thing to do would be to replace all c's with either k's or s's as fits. (This leads into slight trouble with ch, but that's fixable)
Anywho, one day during Sophmore year, I mention this to
boredmder. Um, oops? His first thought is to point out that cock would, by my ruling, become "kokk" a fact which he found amusing.
I wasn't amused in the slightest, but then, I was young and less amused by dirty jokes then.
5) Cthulu I need to go read more Lovecraft. Cthulu is *awesome* He is evil and *awesome* Also, if you own a plushie of him, your death will be extra painful. I am quite convinced of this.
6) Cookie Come to the dark side, we've got cookies!
Cookies just frickin' rule, alright man? That's all you need.
7) Crazy I am slowly going crazy onetwothreefourfivesixSWITCH crazy going slowly am I sixfivefourthreetwooneSWITCH ich bin langsam gehe verruckt einszweidreivierfunfsechsWESCHEL verruckt gehe langsam bin ich sechsfunfvierdreizweieinsWESCHEL...*
8) Comedy I am a comedy fiend. I love to laugh and to make other people laugh, and highly support good comedy of any kind, especially dark comedy.
9) Clerks I need to see Chasing Amy and Dogma at some point. Anywho, Clerks and Clerks II are both quite good and very funny, and I publicly retract any comparisons between them and Napoleon Dynamite.
10) Chase Ah. Ah, now that's a *very* interesting word. And a very interesting metaphor. A boy used it for me, to describe me. I gave chase, he claimed.
It didn't work.
Now, onto the fun stuff! X!!
(And yes, I'm totally planning to cheat and use many eX- words.
1) X-mas! This is the winter holiday that my family celebrates. Pronounced "ex-mass" It's a great holiday --you get presents!
2) XXX Used to describe strong pornography or strong booze, neither of which I like. So why do I have it here? Because it's one less word I have to use the dictionary for. *grin!*
3) Xan When pronounced one way, it is a charming...9? year old who I get to see not near often enough. He's wonderful. When pronounced the other way, it is the name of the main charecter of my NaNoWriMo2k6 novel. (failed, bytheway)
4) ~~~~xXxXxXxXx~~~~ hi my name is sparkley princess lol ~~~~xXxXxXxXx~~~~
Which is kinda what Luna was talking about over here. See "re: Internets". I can't *stand* that, I really can't.
And bullshit it's not a word. It's pronounced "OMG I"S SO KOOL AND IM ON TEH INTERNET ATTENTION LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!1!!!!11!!!one!!!!!!!!eleventy-one!!!!!!!!!!!"
Also, *holds out wrist to Katters*
5) Xanadu Not that I've actually seen it or anything. But I got to see a preview for it while in New Yawk being an Alleycat, and the song was one of the false clues. Also part of one of the best quotes ever, from Michael Beck: "The Warriors opened a lot of doors for me as an actor. Which Xanadu promptly closed."
6) Xanga Which is pretty much the only way I keep up with my favorite ex. She posts...once in a blue moon. I haven't posted in several months. Still, it's nice to see her ocassionally, even in text.
7) X-files. Which I don't actually watch, but I really quite like the theme music. It is excellent sounding!
8) xkcd has saved my arse again. BUAHAHAHA! I love this comic, far too much. Go look up the elljay entry I made extolling it's virtues a few weeks back. If you aren't reading it yet, go do so. Now. Also, the homespace for Thefunniest and Thecutest.
Now...two words left. Let's see if I can come up with them on my own.
9) Xathura Another movie. Where they DESTROY an UGLYDOLL! *SOBSOBSOB!!!*
Or they did in the previews at least. I didn't actually see it. >.> <.<
Acknocurses! It's actually spelled with a "z" Damn! That means it doesn't count!
9) Xenon is a noble gas. It is an element. It starts with an X. That is all. It's in the second to last line of Tom Lehrer's "The Elements" song, right between Radon and Zinc. No, I didn't listen to the song to find that out. :D
10) Xylophone! Because like hell am I going to rack my brain trying to remember another x word. Xylophones are awesome, they make great noises. I was fiddling with one at school today while singing "Virus Alert" with 'Ria and slacking around the bandroom.
"You shall have the 'Y'."
1) Yippie! As in "...Skippy, the evil!" It's the title of the Sluggy book containing the first Kitten arc. Also a good word for expressing joy.
2) YARRRRRRR!!!! I'm sad it took me until the second spot to think of this one. Yarr. Best friggin pirate word EVER
3) Yig I'm not sure if this is an actual word or not, but I tend to use it quite often. It's sortof a frustration/tired/"how do I explain this?" sound. I like it.
4) Yellow "The word yellow wandered through his mind in search of something to connect with"
Also the colour of the ugliest car in the world. I swear to all the gods I know of that this car was designed and created by Vogons. One of these days, sometime before the owner regains his/her senses, I will have to bring mum's camera on the walk to school with me and take a picture of this blight upon the world. Dear gods, that thing is *hideous*
Also the colour of one of the sleekest, sexiest cars in the world. A much less awful shade of yellow of course. *sighs* I miss Diane's mini. *pouts*
I also really miss late nights being driven home in Dave's BMW with the heated seats. Mrrrrmmmmm.
5) yiff OKAY BRAIN! I SAID IT! LEAVE ME ALONE NOW ARG!
Yiff is...just...yeah. Don't ask. It's been stuck in my brain, so I have to post it just to get it the frick OUT!
6) Yeoman It is ann excellent word, and really only means anything to me because I managed to pull it out as a scrabble word against my brother during Turkey-weekend. He still wholloped me in that game though, mostly because of his fricking "zen" with the z on a triple letter score. Grar.
7) Yes As anyone who has read YesMan by Danny Wallis will tell you, Yes is a powerful and positive word. We're all about the positive over here in ENBB.
(Geeba. I haven't identified myself as a member of the Island Dictatorship of East New Bonga Bonga in a *long* time. Nice to know it's still there.)
8) Yemen is the second to last word in They Might Be Giants song "The Alphabet of Nations" Anything TMBG is good by me, and I particularily like that one.
9) YouTube is seriously awesome. I spent a good deal of time just hopping from one song to another by this amazing violinist called Vanessa Mae. She's rocksome. Plus, I've found everything from Dr. Who, to Animaniacs songs, to Firefly AMV's, to the Free Hugs Campaign. It is the wins, at least until it undergoes a "copyrighted stuff oh noooooes!" wipe.
10) Yatta If you don't understand...just...just go google it. It will make your life better, I promise.
Oh! And I forgot I also got it "Didn't ednoria get it from you?
IN any case, I give you... K!"
1) Kat Me! *poses dramatically* And OtherKat! We are two of the hoopiest damn froods you will ever meet in your life. You needn't hear any more.
2) Kinesthesia One of my all time favorite words ever. Its just...such a good sounding word. Yeah. 'sall I've got to say on it.
3) Ketra is the nickname I have for one of my favorite charecters, Elektra Elliot. (Yes, I know you should avoid alliterative names, but she's not my childe, so I feel I'm allowed. *grin*) She is a stalker and a photographer and may later become a private detecitve or something. She's good people.
4) Kilts Do I even have to say more?
5) Kinder Bueno bars. Are the most utterly incredibly delusionally good chocolate bars in the history of everything. They are chocolate filled with hazlenutmilkorsomething creme filling and ohhhhhmygawdgood. Josh calls it "Orgasm Chocolate."
6) Kybernetic I *think* this is right. If it is, it's part of Deutsch for "SCC" (See H2G2)
7) Kryptonite Another really good song. (Can you tell what order I'm writing these in?) It is just rocky and good, and I spent a good deal of time trying to get a copy. But I have it now, so yayforme!
8) Kittens! Because we have them and they have paws and little kitty faces and I just petted Whimsy who is sitting next to me and she went mew! Yay for kittens!! And for all the many, many cute things they do. *smiles at her kitties*
9) King of All Cosmos. He is the *wins*. I need to play more Katamari Damacey. Speaking of which...
10) Katamari!! Oh yes, we loves it. *heart* Katamari's are rolly and beautiful and hooray!
Oh, *and* "Well let's see, you already did N, so its time for something harder....Z, X, or Q would be no fun, so.......
(reaches into his big bag of letters)
Here's an aerodynamic "O" for me to fling your way."
1) Octopus (Or Octopi, if you prefer) Especially an excellent thing when it is in Space. Ask the fabulous Madam Luna about that some time.
2) Orange is my absolute favorite colour in the entire world. You can tell by looking at my shoes, primary towel, conventionshirt, or various other eye burning bright things I wear in that shade.
3) Oder No, not the stench. In German, it means "or". As I tend to speak in Deutschlish, I use this a lot.
4) Order What I'm desperate for, and terribly bad at achieving. I'm a very chaotic person by nature, but I want my room and computer and inbox and everything CLEANNNNNN! I think it has to do a good deal with being a Virgo. *grins*
5) Oasis is a robot? gymnest? assasin? thingy? pheonix? who is in love with Torg, over at Sluggy Freelance. She is fricking *awesome*. Her latest trick is this cool looking rolly with candlesticks thing that I want to learn how to do.
6) Overwhelmed. I'm trying to keep up with senior year, find Holiday gifts, learn to drive, and apply to college. This is how I feel right now.
7) Odd is a good word for describing me. Because I am, very. Because I am *just* that cool.
8) Oxymoron You know, Perky Goth, Microsoft Works, etc. I loves them, they're totally fun.
9) Onomatopoeia Is a word that I can't actually spell. But damnit, it's a *cool* word that I can't actually spell! And oddly enough, Onomatopoeia is not, in itself, Onomotopoeitic.
10) Ostrich Because they are far too cool looking to not be included. Yus.
"an M for marvelous monologue!"
1) Marrige. I think anyone over the legal age should be allowed to marry, don't you? It would be nice.
2) Masochism As in THE TANGO! Not anything else. Crazy dirty minded people. Masochism Tango, by Tom Lehrer is quite plausibly one of the best songs in the universe or so. You should all go listen to it, it's way fun.
3) Moo! See Onomatopoeia. Moo is just an all around excellent word. It comes from cows. *nods sagely*
4) Mice I'm terrified of them. Seriously. Well, maybe terrified isn't the right word, but honestly, if it's a member of the rodent family (Not counting bats. Are bats rodents?) I don't like it even a little bit. If I see one (Nrr...) I wind up looking like a girl in a bad fifties sitcom.
Also are pan-dimensional beings. Hold on, I think I just thought of my next word...
5) Magrathea! (Which I probably just slaughtered the spelling on.) Magrethea is a legendary planet that's so freaking rich, it builds other planets and sells them. Zaphod and I love it. It's a seriously hoopy place.
6) Monolgue What an awesome word. Monologues are good fun. I currently have two that I am in the process of finding and memorizing, V's opening monologue and Snoopy's Red Baron monologue from "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown."
7) Muscles Yarr. There is a specific type of muscles I like, and a specific type I don't like. I like the really long subtle muscles. Pretty pretty.
In other news, biceps feel cool. *grin*
8) Magic More the idea then the game for me. Being a sorcyress, I know a good deal about magic. Or rather, about my kind of magic, which I use in my stories and whatnot. I've actually got some weird and complex laws for how it works, but they're all very arbitrary.
9) Mental I am...very strongly grounded in the mental. I have known this for quite some time. Which is kinda weird, kinda not. I don't mind it so much at any rate.
10) Melty What certain people (including me) do if you give them really good backrubs. *shakes a fist in a very idle sort of way at Magus -hey there's another M)
