Dicember Day 16
Green Prism Dice.
(Obtained 2022 02, made by DeadEyeDice)

I don't play favourites with my dice.
Seriously, while I was doing the photography for this project, one of the best things about it was that I _didn't get bored_ --every time I pulled out a new set to document, I found myself rolling them around in my hands and admiring the sunlight and the shine. Marie Kondo would be proud of my collection, because nearly all of it sparks outrageous joy! I love all my dice sets very much, and could never choose a favourite!
...but I did take more photos of this set than any other, by like...an order of magnitude. When I finished photographing them, instead of putting them away, I set them to the side and then kept coming back and taking more pictures in between. They are _so gorgeous_.

And I do play favourites with manufacturers! There's a lot of dicemakers and distributers out there who I'm quite fond of, but a chance Etsy search looking for a present for my metamour let me stumble upon DeadEyeDice. They seemed legit, the prices were not at all bad for handmade1, why not try it?
And then the package I received was *so* charmingly wrapped, with little bonus candies and trinkets thrown in, and at that point, I just gotta reward good customer service, right? R-right?
I'm pretty sure I am one of DeadEyeDice's nine people2 and this set was probably the one that clinched it. I love so many of their sets, but this one just takes my breath away and fills my heart with calm every time I gaze upon it. Amazing work!
(I bought the mini-set in the same style, but it has not yet appeared in my Advent Calendar, so I'm impatiently awaiting that one. They sell a chonk d20, much larger than normal, and I am strongly thinking about buying that as well...)

MOOP!
1: It's worth noting that part of why the prices are lower than many other shops offering handmade is because TJ does not polish the dice after removing them from the casts, and there are the occasional cracks or chips. I plain do not care about this, because the positives _far_ outweigh the negatives for me, but YMMV
2: Quoth [Title of Show], "I'd rather be nine people's favourite thing than a hundred people's ninth favourite thing".
