It's the little things, that remind one they are loved.

Like not just that Ezri made dinner and brought it specific to me in my room (since I'm ostensibly doing office hours and actually kinda doing work). But that they included the silverware that I like best, and not just the default silverware from the drawer.

I am so friggin grateful that I am enduring this pandemic with a friend I love dearly, and not in the housing situation I was in last year, with three people I barely knew (or in some cases liked).

There's a lot of other things to be grateful for, but that's a huge one. I hope against hope that you were able to find yourself locked away somewhere safe. If not, I hope against hope that you will gain what you need from the experience and that it will be as gentle on your psyche as possible.
