This is a nice change of pace, especially since my brain has been Hot Trash for the last couple weeks. To that end, I'm not even any good at reading around here, and I miss y'all and I have no idea when my brain will stop being Hot Trash and let me actually do _anything_ again.
Anywho, having a seester in town is nice because that means that maybe I can spend some time with her lying on my bed and me cleaning my own room as a defense mechanism against someone being in my room and me having nervous energy that turns into cleaning. I don't know why I called that a defense mechanism, when it's really just how these things go.
We have lots of very vague plans, and so far the only solid ones are "we'll go to service ringing tomorrow morning (she was very enthused about getting to go to practice today, even though it was like all meeting) and BIDA tomorrow evening". So like, if those are your jam, see y'all there!

I reported it on Twitter, but nowhere else: I passed my Unit Five! Yay! I am a Real Scottish Teacher! Yayyyy! I have...I have _all_ the complicated feels, about perfection, about practice, about the steps required to reach a goal, about being a Slytherin, about being Good Enough, about pass/fail, and about arrogance. Probably about some other stuff too. I actually straight up wrote a real BtW1 entry about it, which is not something I've done in Some Time. It's a _lot_ of flailing. No you may not see it.

Al and I have watched the first two eps of Good Omens. It's super fascinating watching with me having reread the book pretty recently, and her never having read it (or indeed, much Pratchett at all). We are both enjoying it quite a bit, and have plans to watch the other four episodes before she skedaddles.
Stuff I like: Az and Crowley, obviously. Adam, Them, and especially Adam's parents. The Bentley. Agnes. Witchfinder Sargent Shadwell and Madame Tracey. WAR. Newton, probably.
Stuff I'm not into: Anathema, which is eight bummers because she is maybe my favourite from the book. Dog, who needs a lot more internal monologue to sell it. The relatively human appearances of the other demons. Heaven (even though I _love_ Patrick Warburton). Sister Mary Loquacious, and especially that the story of her transformation was completely skipped.
We'll see how it goes.

Not much else to report. Pinewoods shit to do! If you see my brain, my motivation, or any of my emotions beyond "kinda flat and just vaguely surviving" please let me know, I'm not having fun with it.
