you'll have to explain how your school system works, giving you two lunch breaks.
I'd suspect she has two types of days... "A" days and "B" days (or "odd" and "even" days like I had)
On "A" days you have one schedule of classes.
On "B" days you have a second schedule of different classes.
These two schedules alternate every day. My "A" days were on the even-numbered days and my "B" days were on the odd-numbered days, for example. It allows you to have longer class periods, rather than more frequent classes. This (in theory anyway) allows time for more discussions and deeper exploration of the topics at hand without a school day lasting 12-15 hours.
Both types of days should include a lunch period although they're usually not at the same time on both days.
When I was a kid lunch periods weren't mandated by law. Consequently, I had no lunch periods my senior year of high school (which ran from 7:05 am until 2:45 pm). I did have a "study hall" 8th period every other day. I never went. I cut it so I could go eat something and hang out in the auditorium with the people who I thought were my friends.
