So, I've gotten several requests for my photos of the snowstorm. There's a bunch in my flickr, but here are some of the best snow sculpture ones from Davis Square. You can see them yourself if you are quick to get to the Seven Hills Park (behind the T)

Someone gave this fellow a quite dashing beard. It's since fallen off, alas.

This gorilla had decorated nipples. Not sure how to feel other than amused.

I loved this tourist! But the next day...

SNOW DALEK!

This guy looked more like he was carved from the snow than sculpted. Lovely!

Has anyone else noticed that Davis Square is full of geeks?

I love the crazy arms on this one!

With a tie, even!

I took so many pictures of this gorgeous turtle and cat sculpture. I think this was the best of mine.

NARWHALES NARWHALES, SWIMMING IN THE OCEAN!

...the next day, he was attacked by an enthusiastic pup-beast!

From this angle, it's clearly a walrus!

And from this, a bunny saying "Mow" (what?)

THIS IS AMAZING AND GORGEOUS! (I like octopodes a lot)

Puppy head!

Exquisite dragon! Look at those scales

Tiny T-Rex!

There was, inexplicably, a stalk of broccoli in the bowl.

This lobster was fully twelve feet long.

Here is a shark...

...and here is a swimmer...

...dun dun...duuunnn dunnn!
This has been such a truly marvelous winter!
