There is an unfortunate trend, not just in weocbmics, but on the internet in general, that treating any subject carefully and with respect is seen as being Too PC' and Overly sensitive'. The political correctness gone mad' meme has spread like wildfire and has lead to an attitude of dismissal towards genuinely sensitive issues like this.Basically, they're trying to look edgy and touch and failing horribly. Shame, really.
