Weird. Take it as a compliment, but yeah, make them take it down. That is truly not okay, no matter who the person is but especially since they're expressing views you don't share.
majordomo once discovered (because he hosts my webpage on his server and happened to be reading the traffic logs) that someone was using a photo of one of my quilts as a background on her MySpace page. Which would be awesome and flattering... if she had attributed it. This was years ago, and I forget what happened -- I know we emailed her asking her to either take the photo down or add attribution, but I don't remember what came of it.
