So, in my free time at Internship, I've stumbled back onto Sluggy.net, and been poking around there the last couple months. This was well timed, as I found a thread searching for experiences of queer folk to use as real-life explanations to their students. So I posted a bunch, about being bi and poly and genderqueer, because I had the time, and I like being a real life example of an omgqueerfreak who is actually just a pretty normal person who goes to school and work and dance and stuff.
In general, apparently it went quite well. However, there was this:
Not gonna lie, I lawled so hard at this, because hell, it's some freshman on the other side of the world, what do I care. And I'm pleased as punch that someone is teaching the real experiences thing.
Lions and bears, hee!

As expected, they did make a few boneheaded statements (I'm sorry, I couldn't help laughing when a kid told Sorceress to go off and live in the mountains, where at least the lions and bears wouldn't judge her for being polyamorous)
