The ferret, of course, is actually stealing icecream in the pay of dark nefarious forces. By which I mean Sor, via Harena, who has contacts among the species.

Sor, if you send me a hundred thousand fast enough, I might delete this terrible revelation before Magus sees. (not a hundred thousand of anything in particular, I'm not fussed, I just like big round numbers).
