Huh -- command-backtick is the default for swapping windows. Or did you mean tabs? In Safari, the default seems to be command-shift-bracket, and in Adium, while command-arrow works, so does command-(number) (for going to a specific tab).
Regardless, I have Spaces set to use control-arrow for moving between them in sequence.
