One year ago today, it was 2008, and I had one of the most terrible single hours of my life. (that didn't result in me curled up on the floor sobbing)
More importantly, I sprained(?) my ankle, and went to the museum of science.
Well.
Last Thursday, because I am repeating this class, I got to go to the MoS again. This time, I didn't sprain my ankle, I didn't flash anyone, and I didn't fall down the stairs. What wound up happening was that I had the most magnificent of times --the Mathematic section still needs more hands on things, but the lightning show was wonderful, and the birthing unit was hgjoklmesr and I got to WATCH A BABY CHICK BE BORN, zohmygod, and called mom for like half an hour, and analyzed the audiokinetic sculpture they've got that I love so, and looked at things and played with things and stayed much too late and eeee!
And, like last year, I largely wandered around by myself. I'm kinda okay with that, really --there are some people who it'd be really really good to wander around a science center with (Katters!) but seriously, I like having the time to just look at things as I see fit and not stress about boring other people. (You want to stare at the eggs for forty minutes *why*?)
It's a good field trip.
Now, to go write a very squeeish post about what I did last night. Glee!
