Hey everybody!!

I am looking for old maps that I can origamify into swaps for this years day camp. If you have any sort of maps that you need to dispose of, bring them round to the Empty City sometime or (if you're on my 'stalk me!' filter) mail them to my home address.

Yep. Maps.

***

I have been accomplishing things all day! I'm very proud of myself --I managed to knock four things off my ToDo1 of doom, and therefore my room is pretending to look even cleaner.

Of course, I also found honest to god cobwebs up in my closet doorframe. (My closet does not actually have doors) This is either really funny or not cool, I can't tell which.

Butyeah, under my bed has been cleaned out and I now have a trundle bed using a spare mattress (I have a *new* mattress!!! It is just about the happiest thing ever), my desktop has been completely cleaned off, and my little blue shelf has been cleaned out, dusted, and reorganized. It now has action figures. They have not yet begun to make out, mostly because I'm of the opinion that Wild Things should not make out with anyone, ever, thanks, I don't have a white spy figure and to consider the black spy with *anyone* else would be blasphemy, and making Cutter and Leetah make out would just be boring as they're a canon pairing.

Erm...I...may be a strange person.

***

Cooking experiment of the day was making crepes. Only I made them too thick, so I have termed them pancrepes. They are not as good as yesterday, but I did have leftover to put into the fridge and save for tomorrow, which is nice. Also, I didn't take photos or feel like properly documenting that one, so I maintain it wasn't an actual Culinary Experiment, it was just a "Kat is hungry and needs food". Maybe later in the summer.

***

I have begun to read 'If Chins Could Kill' which is Bruce Campbell's memoirs/autobiography. It's kinda awesome.

***

Hmmm, I need to figure out where to put my massive amount of legos, now that there's a mattress under my bed. Sigh. I'll add it to the list.

***

At any rate, off to more roomcleaning. Later, kiddos.

MOOP!

PostScript2: I've been trying very very hard to only make one elljay post a day, as I've been trying to hash out where I really want to go with my journal, and people keep bitching to mom, which is hey, totally cool. I write an obscene amount, I know that. But I kinda want to be heard, soooo...

My current plan is to (eventually) begin posting actual Writings (Essays, good thoughtstreams, general cool stuff) over in [livejournal.com profile] sorcyress and continue to use [livejournal.com profile] kdsorceress as a 'Whee, here are all my thoughts on everything' journal. I'd post, say, monthly updates on how my life is going in the former, and links to my brilliance in the latter, and everything would be spift-tastic.

1: Pronounced 'toe-doh' It's my own little pretentious way of saying 'to do list'.
2: Should footnotes go before or after postscripts?

When you consider, such as, how some people in the US don't have maps it's kind of selfish, such as, for you to collage them.

PS: That's really not a Rick Roll. I didn't even think about that until I realized I linked it instead of embedding it like I had planned.

*giggles!* I thought for half a second it might be, especially since I got Mario Paint Rolled by a friend approximately a minute and a half before I clicked on your link.

What can I say, I'm an incredibly selfish person.

Footnotes go after postscripts. Mostly 'cause entries are single-page, and on each page footnotes go after everything else (if you put this entry into multiple pages, footnote 1 would be at the bottom of page 1, and page 2 would have more text, then the PS, then footnote 2). Really, footnotes are endnotes, just on each page, and since there's only one page, they go at the end, after everything else. I don't know if that makes any sense, but....yeah.

"...people keep bitching...[about how often you post in your livejournal]"

I'm tempted to post a rant in my LJ about my opinions on a lot of LJ etiquette and link to it whenever somebody says something like this. In short, it's your LJ, they should get over it.

"...people keep bitching to mom,"

WTF?

i rather agree. i can't alwaysusually keep up with everything Sor writes but i love having it there for when i can catch the bits that i want to respond to! And as obsessive as i am at wanting to respond to everything, you'd think it would be me that would be one of the complainers

But of course, i'd never do that 'cause i'm also obsessively afraid of people hating me so, tha's my stopgap, i guess. heh.
