Ew. Your library closes? And at 11? That sucks. I was going to suggest the library, even though I don't know what kind of library you have (the one here is huge and built in 1930 and renovated in 1970, so it's got massive amounts of space and all kinds of desks hidden in the stacks, and 80 years' worth of books provides good sound insulation). My library doesn't close anymore during the semester, but even when it did it was open from 8am until 3am or something like that.
Do you have access to the Harvard campus/network? I know you said you're surrounded by that on three sides, and I'm sure the oldest university in the New World has plenty of hiding spots.
