NEFFA stuffa
Apr. 15th, 2011 03:21 pmNot that I've really been online this weekend anyways, I'm going to NEFFA. If anyone is leaving the Greater Camberville area ~ 4:30-5:00 PM and can offer me a ride, please drop me a line (by e-mail, comment, or text) and let me know. Otherwise, I get to play "goddamn train".
I would put a schedule here, but I'm honestly not sure I have one yet. This is because there is no Scottish, a dearth of sound volunteers leading to me possibly having a _lot_ of hours (v. sad they don't carry over, I'd love to get a membership for next year too), and weird drama about stuff that I normally go to which *I* am mature enough to not mention or bring up, but other people may not be and if they do I will so smack them down.
I will hopefully have my hoop, because _hoop_. Also, I might wind up bringing my laptop, leaving it somewhere safe (goddess bless access to tech hide-holes), and doing homework at random points throughout the con. Because I am so badly behind.
(Not gonna lie, the temptation to skip tonight, do homework, and get a ride in with Alex or someone tomorrow morning is _really. goddamn. high._ But Persis and DHS would be quite disappointed in me.)
Oh. Except apparently there _is_ SCD now. Tonight at eight. How exciting, that wasn't true when I last looked at the schedule. And looking at the T, so long as I hit South Station by six, I should be in Mansfield by festival start. That's nice. I can work with this. Still wouldn't mind a ride if there is one, but at least I have options.
This is workable. Gives me about fifteen minutes to get dinner from the food place, which is actually a hugely important thing for me to do. Hum. Food, run to Harvard, T, South Station, train, Mansfield, ???, profit.
Okay. This is workable.
As a complete aside, I uploaded about 50 pictures to Flickr. Would you rather I post a bunch of them in one huge post, or in several smaller ones (a la the cosplay one from yesterday).
