Nomad Summer Post!

Okay, so, it's Monday! I've been a nomad for a whole three days now, and continue to find it an enjoyable experience. Mostly, I've been slacking around at Magus's house, doing stuff on the computer (except not typing for 750words, because I am bad)

Saturday, I arrived at the school library, and locked myself into a study carrel on the third floor. This actually turned out to be a smashingly bad plan --isolation made it really easy to have a particularly long lasting and bad panic attack. Over enough time, I stopped panicking, though it took me another enjoyable two hours to stop crying. But so it goes, and meant I was willing to treat myself to a good dinner at the Cambridge Commons --clam chowder and mac and cheese, mm!

From the Commons, I wandered up to Davis Square, which is really what I say when I say "this place feels like home." I really do need to spend more nights sitting on the big cement thing outside of JPLicks, playing on my computer or chatting with friends or reading or eating ice cream or listening to the street players or all of the above. It feels exactly like home.

I hung out and let my brain restabilize, and chatted to [livejournal.com profile] meanfreepath when he wandered by, and danced with some strangers, and enticed [livejournal.com profile] marmota out for ice cream, which led to more good chatting. Eventually, I packed up and wandered off to This Land (Marc's house), where I settled into sleep.

Sunday I did absolutely nothing except internet, and I don't even think I made an impact there. I've been having a really low-mood sort of few days, and so I haven't been in much of a space to create well, or...anything, really. Damn shame, that.

Sunday night though, Magus and I went off to have dinner at JoshZed's, where we discussed mathematics, whether I was currently dating any time travelers (I don't *think* so, at least not beyond the one second per second sort), feminism, religion, and probably just heaps of other stuff I can't remember offhand. It was a nice time.

Today it is Monday. Later today, I have dance. In the meantime, however, I have been running errands, which means wandering around on various busses. Currently, I am sitting in a Peets coffee, in Brookline, which is not at all the same place as Watertown, and I'm an idiot for getting those transposed in my head.

Oh, and if anyone cares, I have a phone again. Ayep.
