And, to round it off, some quotes from my little brother, mostly him making fun of my choice in music.

Me: I wonder what ramen tastes like with nutella
Nik: What? You're playing God here, Kat! Some things aren't meant to be trifled with!

Nik: Okay, so, who was on more drugs...the people who made 'Across the Universe', or the people who made Katamari Damacy?

Me: A pox on both your houses!
Nik: Say who?
Me: A pox. On both your houses.
Nik: I don't have any houses...

Nik: Why is it you've been getting into sea shanties lately. Seriously, it's all sea shanties. And bagpipes. (Towards my prediliction for Great Big Sea and the Dropkick Murpheys.)

Nik: ...what's that?
Me: It's Torgo's Haunting Theme!
Nik: ...
Me: It's from 'Manos', the hands of fate!
Nik: ...I'm so happy for you."

Me: Someday I would like to make a movie called 'River Tam beats the shit out of everyone'
Nik: River who?
Me: ...Tam. River Tam.
Nik: I'll take your word for it."

Also, Knoblauch is an even awesomer song when you realize that they're singing about garlic. Seriously.

Alsoalso, real life needs a fucking search engine --I can't find the composition book I wrote my 2005 NaNoWriMo story in. *growls*

This would suck less if that one wasn't the one that consistently gives me the most trouble, because Dante is my favourite character, and she's huge amounts of difficult.

You wrote a NaNoWriMo story in a composition book? Does that mean you counted words — by hand?

I used composition books from 2003-2005, borrowed a laptop from a friend for 2006, and used my own laptop this year.

I've never actually won NaNoWriMo. The closest I got was 2005, when I wrote about 144 pages. I eventually wrote another six or so pages on loose leaf, to finish the story, and declared myself awesome.

If you ever take the time to learn how to play Torgo's Haunting Theme yourself, I may have to de-friend you. ;-)
