sorcyressI am now in Chicago! Yayy!!! This will last for about another 24 hours or so, and then I'll be headed off for GenCon! More yayy!!! And then back to Chicago, where I will remain until the 23rd, getting things done and hanging out with my mom. I am very much looking forward to the next week and a half.
I have mostly finished packing ALL THE THINGS back home in the meteoric smoking crater that is all that remains of Dinosaur Sashay. I will be ready to move when I return to your fair city, and will probably be soliciting help thereof.
The extinction party was _very_ good. We went on field trips to see the creepy thing in the basement (photos forthcoming), and played games (Bunny Bunny Moose Moose and a realtime space combat game that involves rolling ALL THE DICE) and I granted people Ikea Names and joined the League of Best Friends, and talked and ate and made an excellent cake, and it was all extremely good.
Real life is mostly boring (but I had an interview yesterday, omg fingers crossed) and should be more concerned with getting things done off that list I posted way back at the start of summer than it actually is. But things are happening, albeit slowly, and I'm getting in lots of good social and stuff, so I can't really complain.
