Extinction

The big move has happened, Nurit and Genni have collectively moved like three quarters of all their stuff, which leaves the apartment suddenly much more empty than before. I'm living here alone for the duration of August, which is definitely weird -I've never lived fully on my own before.
The most tragic part of all this is that my lovely (now former, and that is weird) roommates have take. The internet with them. So my online activities will be constricted to my telephone, or to bringin Vera to Sparr'shouse or the library or Davis or something. I'm frantically trying to convince myself that it's ultimatel a good thing, and I'll use the free time to get lots of things done. More realistically, I'll be curled on the floor in the fetal position inside of a week. ;)
Anyone who is Boston based and would like to come help me pack and stuff should shove their schedule against mine at some point this month. And my move will be happening twice- both a week before and a week after Move-In Day -so if there are calm and cool headed people who'd like to help cary things in exchange for beer and food, that'd be lovely. Be warnèd, if I suspect your presence will be more stressful than helpful, I shall politely tell you to scram.
(Moving is too complicated and control freaky to let just anyone help out, unfortunately. And I'm realizing that the next time I am a part of a big move, like Nurit and Genni moving out, I shall wish to organize it as though it were the main ballroom build for tech fandom. Er, as they should be run, not as they often are run)
Anyways, off to brush out and wash my hair, and other thigs like that.
