A Screwup Card. What you do is, when you've screwed up and the other person is mad at you, you hand it over and you say "I'm really sorry, I screwed up."
And because you only ever get one of them, the other person will know you're sincere because that's the only time you'll get to use it. And that'll make them aware of exactly how sorry you are.
