It's the formal definition of the Mandelbrot set. :-) ("Take a point called z in the complex plane, let z1 be z2 plus C. z2 is z12 plus C. z3 is z22 plus C, and so on. If the series of z's will always stay close to z and never trend away, that point is in the Mandelbrot set," is more recognizable, but longer than 30 words.)
