This is the Brazil novel that deals the most explicitly with the War, what with the thleilrr plot part of it. But the effects of the War is All Over her novels in the later part of the conflict anything published 1916-1919, really. In some ways those are more interesting, in the way they handle the daily life effects on the home front, than in this one. L.
