Kat's Present List: Version 4.1

DISCLAIMER:
I'm not greedy, I'm thorough. I like many many things in the world, and these are some of the things I like best, and want the most.
KPL v.4.1
Books. Get me a copy of your favourite book, the one you've read a dozen times and still love. Get a pen and write in the front cover or margins, or take a highlighter and highlight the best passages. Make it truly yours, and give it to me.
Awesome jackets. Especially of the warm variety. And by jacket, I mean jacket/coat/whatever. I like warm things.
Notebooks. I am a notebook whore. Seriously, even little tiny 99 cent notebooks are awesome. (Those especially, actually, since they make great "scrawl down really quick notes for later" places)
In the same vein as notebooks, I love pens like there is nothing else. My favourite brands are Bic: Atlantis and Pentel: R.S.V.P. but really, I like them all. I especially like good, wet-ink coloured pens, because when they come in sets, I can talk to the voices. (A set being, at minimum, black, red, blue, green, and purple.) Also, yadayada, obligatory shouting of BIC PENS!
Duckity ducks. I collect interesting rubber duckies, especially of the devilish kind. And on a similar note, DINOSAURS! Sorcy loves dinosaurs almost as much as she loves backhoes.
Comics and graphic novels. Mostly graphic novels, as opposed to the traditional superhero comic, but I LOVE comics as an art form. They are a Good Thing.
Buttons. Or pins, if you prefer. Those round things with a safety pin style clasp in the back that I wear all over my army jacket and shirts and everything.
Letters. Write me a letter, send me a postcard, anything. There is nothing cooler at college then getting mail, it is an immediate mood boost, every time.
A copy (or several) of Treehouse. Since I don't actually have one. I kinda prefer Xeno over regular (Orange!) but I'll take either.
In the same vein as Treehouse, I really want my own copy of Chrononauts.
RockBand! Okay, I get *one* unreasonable wish, yeah? (Note: Unless you are my parentals, please don't actually get me this, because I get all weirded out when people spend money on me in general, and RockBand is recockulously expensive.)
Actually, on the unreasonableness scale, screw RockBand. I want a BACKHOE! Because they are *awesome*
Analog Clocks, especially cool looking ones. I love clocks so much, it's ridiculous.
A place where I can get my pocketwatch fixed. For reference, it's approximately 100 years old, and no longer ticks --I really need a good place in Cambridgeish that will fix it for me, that will not break it worse, and that will not destroy my checking account.
Candy: White chocolate pretzels, Kinder Bueno bars, Jones soda, sour Starbursts, and Lemonheads are my favourites. I prefer white chocolate to milk, don't particularly like dark, and tend to like sour things. Or lemon flavoured things in general, really. Also acceptable is Lemon Meringue Pie, and, if you can somehow find some for me, White Hot Chocolate mix.
Musics! Because I'm nearly as music-uneducated as I am movie-uneducated. The stuff I currently want most that I don't have is "Here Come the ABC's" by They Might Be Giants and the Shock Treatment soundtrack. The stuff I want most that I do have, I just gained it through illicit means is Assassins (revival cast) and "Running with Scissors" by Weird Al And of course, I always love mix tapes. (iTunes gift cards are so *impersonal*, and tossing 15 of your favourite songs onto a CD only costs a few cents.)
Origami Paper, as I never have enough.
Dice, as I *never* have enough.
Caribeaners Those things that you use for rock climbing. They're actually pretty trendy these days, and you can buy non-weight supporting ones to clip things to belt loops. Which I do a lot of.
A Rubiks Cube, so I can learn how to do it and be awesome.
Thumbtacks, for pinning up stuff in my room.
Dishes and cooking supplies. Ria put it best: You know you're really a grown up when you have pots and pans on your Christmas list. Sigh.
Black Converse All-Star hightop sneakers, sweatshop labour and all. I wear size five mens, seven womans.
Pirate Boots. I've no clue where you'd get good ones, but I'm tired of my faire outfits being reasonably (read: kinda) period and then dying at the hightops.
Plain white t-shirts for me to draw on. And Sharpies. I generally run small/medium for shirts, I can wear large without looking too much like I've swimming, but I've found that these days I tend to prefer the tighter stuff.
Tights and fishnets, as long as we're in the clothing realm. I love tights to bits, as they make my legs look good without me having to deal with those silly razor things. Oo! Razor! Cutcutcut!
Yeah, I really really want an old-fashioned straight razor. By old fashioned, I mean "Sweeney Todd era" but functionality is more important then period. I'd really prefer it to be somewhat plain, since highly worked/decorated metals don't usually appeal to me as much.
And in the same vein as the "plain and untooled", I want a plain stainless steel zippo lighter. No designs, no engravings, no nothing, just metal covered. And lighter fluid. And no, I'm not about to take up smoking, that's gross. This lighter that I'm picturing is a very important story-element --I originally wrote it as a "battered stainless steel lighter" in Royal Blue Eyes, then got a chance to cameo it in Adies Tale, with a hint that it's been through a lot of adventures. It's most recently been seen in the hands of Dee from this years WriMoNo.
Have I mentioned legos yet? I want legos.
Proper dancing shoes. Jazz slippers are pretty much ideal, but mostly I just want a pair of shoes that I can declare "Never allowed to go outside, EVER, so help me God" and that I can dance in.
***
There are also some webcomics, blogs, websites, etc that I adore and want to support however possible. This part of the presentlist is linked, for your convenience.
For shirts, I generally wear a womans small or medium.

Also note that I don't, at any point, need presents, and I happen to love hugs above everything else. This is not begging, this is just reference.
