sorcyressEarlier today, that one guy who may very well be my mentor or something made a comment to me "do something running around outside-ish for the full moon tonight."
Seeing as I was already planning to stay up the whole night anyways (yaypaperheadrushglee!) this was not a hard promise to make.
I slink from my hiding space in Porter Exchange, up the steps and out the door. I left my things downstairs, relatively confident that they would not be stolen. All I had was myself and my ipod.
Headphones go in, and down the shirt, to stay out of the way. ipod is cued to an appropriate song --Down to Earth-- The moon is bright, the cloud cover easily shifting, and I am alone in a city still awake.
An image. A girl, ripped up jeans with paint stains from theatre, no shoes, an indie shirt and a long long braid. Just her and her music.
And her dancing. Under the pale light of a full moon, almost perfectly overhead.
There will be other perfect moments in my life. Hell, there have been other perfect moments in my week, and I suspect more are fourthcoming. But this one, this one was perfect right now.
It is so beautiful to forget the world sometimes.
