Jul. 21st, 2019 09:02 amQuite obvs, I have not been commenting much lately. I fell off reading somewhere in mid-to-late June, and then of course there was Pinewoods. I wish you all well, and hope things are okay, but unless you are mek, I've not gone back to catch up on you.
It is Too Fucking Hot here, and that's sorta the dominant feeling, but there's also Shifting Relationship Stuff1, and Moving Stuff, and always "Ur in ur death spiral repent to ur weather lords" stuff.
Shifting Relationship Stuff: Austin's other partner Bee has moved up here for permanents. This is an AWESOME GREAT THING that I'm really happy about! They are going to be living together which means I am going to be spending less time with Austin. I am...less happy about that part, but it seems to be correct balances of "everyone is communicating and I trust he still loves me and we'll see each other on some kind of regular schedule" and not "oh fuck, I've been blindsided by my partners moving around!"
Also, I am trying very much to think of this as "oh hey, now we1 are going to be spending more nights at home, what interesting things can be done with that?" For lots of reasons, including that...hey more nights at home!
Moving Stuff: I assume I have alluded to the fact that Ezri and I are moving to Belmont in a few weeks? I mean, I'm moving in a few weeks, not sure about Ez. Need to go talk to The Internet, that should be a tomorrow task.
Anyways, I need to pack up everything I own, which is not an insignificant task, made worse by the fact that it's currently EIGHTEEN HUNDRED DEGREES out. I'm slowly remembering all my day camp tricks to beat the heat. Did freeze some water bottles, so that's going well.

There's probably more to life that I could report on, but I need to go to bells, and also it is eighteen hundred degrees. When I get home from bells this afternoon, I will be playing the "hang out in the SECRET LAIR" game, which means "the basement is much more tolerable to exist in". That might make me able to say, do emails or what-have-you that I've been falling behind on. This is absolutely your regular reminder that nagging the Kat is an acceptable activity.

1: You know how I use "singular they" but will very rarely allude to the fact that actually I'm totally okay with using plural they? This is an artifact of that. It's not meant to be the royal we so much as the fact that I contain multitudes2 and really just...feel comfortable being referred to as a plurality. When science gets to that point, we're gonna make ourselves a hivemind in 2.4 seconds.
2: I am partially referring to Gabe-Alis-Hyde here, and partially not.
