GUYS

I love my roommate! Like seriously, I am super-duper-happy about my living situation this year, in a way I've never quite been before. I mean, I love Maddie, I love the twins, I love the other people I've lived with, but I live with someone else who is fannish now and that is the Greatest Thing.

And as always, I love love love living with artists, because you walk in the room and they are busy painting headless people holding cupcakes or using the window as a cheap ass-lightbox to redraw a picture of Baba Yaga's house. This is such a great thing! (And she notes that "Chicken feet are really ugly. And they don't taste very good."

And she likes Doctor Who, and she cooks and brings me food, and she listens to good music and she set her alarm to be the kick from Inception, and she has an "Are You My Mummy?" gasmask hanging on the wall and and and RIA IS SO WONDERFUL YOU GUYS!

So, I think life is overall pretty good. Whee!
